A sunflower instead of the roses, and Harry in shorts, in sandals, in his smile, glinting from dimple to dark-lidded eyes. Makeup? unclear. Would have to determine later, a long inquisitive lick: where have you been and what did you do before you were here in my arms.
Technically it’s a first date. For the second time. They don’t argue semantics: hand in hand to the garden, heels clicking. It was winter back then, roses and heavy jackets, heavy sighs. Now a sunflower, golden-lit smile twinkling.
