The way you describe Elio’s mouth moving, oh dear lord. This is stunning as always, I think I am going to start another reread ☺
This section in the actual story is very low-key. Elio mentions talking about his grandmother and the piano while Oliver says not one thing. So he’s listening and watching him talk, honing in on that mouth.
