[“Come here and be a dickhead with me, Steve!” Robin yells as she tackles him and smacks the suction cup onto his forehead. Steve yelps and turns around, smacking her in the face with his. The camera gets set down and suddenly Gareth has one suctioned to his forehead as well. Gareth yells, “Dick fight!”]

[Ow, shit, Robin!!” Steve yells as they fall over together into the kiddie pool next to them. Eddie cackles from beside the pool, now wearing Gareth’s chicken suit. Dustin rides in front of the camera in the heelys but he flails and falls as he’s halfway out of frame.]

WIP Wednesday Last Sentence You Wrote

Make a new post with the last sentence you wrote on your current WIP (treat this as a guideline, not a hard and fast rule)

I’ve been busy the last few days and haven’t written much, so I don’t actually remember what the last sentence is wrote was 😅 so I’m going to take this opportunity to share the first few sentences of my new secret fic!!! 🤭

We have a problem.

Nobody wants to get that text from their girlfriend. And considering they were both Avengers, Kate knew there was a nearly infinite number of things Yelena could’ve meant by it. A million thoughts flew through her head at breakneck speed when she saw it, but she never expected what it actually was. And she had no idea how to prepare for it.

“How could you let this happen?” Kate cried, pacing her apartment with her hands on her hips.

“I’m sorry!” Yelena said pleadingly. “It was an accident!”

I’ve only just started writing it so I have no idea when I’ll be able to post it. But I love the suspense in the first few lines, so I wanted to share it while it still has zero context. Feel free to share any theories if you have them!

It’s nice having something to share ☺️. Here’s something that’s not angsty from my secret buddie wip

Eddie smiles at him, all warm and bright like the sunrise slipping in between the curtains. His fingers caresses Buck’s cheek as they travel up to card through his hair, his thumb gently stroking over Buck’s birthmark before pulling Buck towards him for another kiss.

Their lips move languidly against one another’s, the soft sounds of their kisses and content exhales filling the room.

“I love you,” Eddie says, burying his face into the crook of Buck’s neck.

He’s heard Eddie say those three words countless times over the past year and a half, yet he still feels them ignite a warm sensation that spreads throughout his body like he did that first time.

Like there’s a star in his chest bursting with colour and light, its shimmering particles embedding themselves into Buck’s bloodstream until he’s glowing with Eddie’s love.
