7 max/Alex
Max was trembling, shaking even, as he walked from his hotel room to Alex's, phone clenched so tightly in his hand his knuckles turned white.
His knuckles had barely touched the wood of Alex's door before it already swung over, the Thai immediately letting Max fall into his arms when Max gave a small shake of his head.
"I-I tried to tell him it was okay, that I wouldn't let it influence my career." Max whispered. "But he got mad." It was clear more had happened, but Max wasn't ready to speak of it. Alex shuffled back, Max still in his arms, and closed the door.
"Do you still want this-" he gestured between the practically non-existent space between, "even if he doesn't approve?" He sounded ao unsure of himself. Max sighed.
"My dad will be mad no matter what I do. And yes, I really do want this." He whispered, before resting his head on Alex's shoulder and simply taking comfort in his warmth.
