Sedore A man that's seen many changes. He's been with the clan since just before Atrys lost her first clan to the tides to dominance warfare. Being amongst those that remember the rougher battles for territory. Having been still a hatchling when tragedy struck, he looks to Atrys as something of a mother beyond the title. Her strength inspiring him to cultivate his own, he now trains the clan members to fight. Particularly those who struggle with it given his vast patience. Over time, he's slowly grown into being the clan pride. Jaementhe showing her approval by lavishing him in materials he now has to keep in mind when in battle. Impressing clan members that he's managed to keep his ensemble relatively unscathed. Sedore is something of an equal to the clan matriarchs in many eyes amongst the clan for his services. While he himself will never accept this, his tendency to go above and beyond with his kindness, loyalty, and sacrifice has earned his place of just below them. When not training or battling in the wilds, he can be found loafing in the sunlight where he'll gladly lend an ear to any dragon's troubles.

Traitors and Fear

Dear Diary, It started off as the best day ever. My parents said it was okay for me to travel. I get to go to Winterspring with Master Za'hiro! I get to see snow and so much I've never experienced but only read about. I cannot help but excited even as I write this down into these pages! I have much to shop for to make sure I stay warm. Guess saving up my gold like I have been has paid off. Though, it didn't stay so happy. I sat with Roldien and was talking with him in the Gardens of the city when we heard the comms go off and that man's voice over the comm. He froze up. He got so scared and while I feared for Sedore's safety I knew he'd be alright with Mister Ty and Uncle Nightengale going to take care of him. So I tried to calm him down. Told him he was safe with me, though that is a lie. I can barely protect myself let alone someone else. But he has my pendent right? So he'll be safe. But no matter what I couldn't get the fear out of him. I asked him if that is how it always is. If he's going to freeze up every time the man is mentioned, seen, or heard. He said it is different face to face. I've seen that man, he is very narrow viewed. But then I asked him what would happen if he tried to grab me again and he wasn't there? What if he heard it over the comm? Was he going to freeze? I do wonder how it happened before. He was there, I remember that. But did they have to pull him along with them? He didn't know the answer and I could only feel sad. Once he told me he would be my strength but his fear is going to drive him from being so. I went to ask Sedore about what Zephyr had said. That he called him a traitor. Miss Seri was torturing the man since he would not cooperate with the healing. He said it was because he was once friends with Zephyr. How could he be? He sounded like Xorin and I'm not sure what to think. How can you be friends with someone who attacks those he knows are close to you? Who you associate with? Where is the care in that? He cannot have an excuse like my Uncle Xin'thalore. He's just simply insane. I don't know what to think. I'm just confused... Lily

Implications

With everything that happens people need to learn there is a reaction to what they do. Not just to themselves but to those around them. Often, it is negative. I spoke with Sedore today, he regretted his actions. He needs to listen to his comm more often to realize that things are not always so happy and pretty in this world. And particularly not in this company. Keeping these boys in line is a difficult task to uphold. He promised me he would kill him. The determination set on his features was enough for me to forgive his actions. I also spoke with Za'hiro. The implications of him leaving his sister with pirates was not as bad as I had originally thought. It was her own choice. So now, him and my daughter will be going to Winterspring next week for her studies. It was easy to let her go to Winterspring. Kol'turu lives there and it will be safe.

Annoyance

Sometimes, people make me want to pull out my hair. And then I wonder if this is what has caused my aura and soul to fracture as much as I've been warned? I've heard it from Casdin and even Nightengale, who speaks little to no one anymore has noticed. But I'll leave it. I have people to deal with. A woman named Belyndrae has threatened my people and all because she refused to listen. How can I give answers if I do not have them and neither do they? My men made promises they can't keep and nor will I help her find out who attacked her and that bastard who shot my daughter. I'll have his head on a platter myself. I have already chewed out Pidgeon. He didn't need to make unnecessary promises. He did not even know that Zephyr was involved thus, he must have caught it near the end. Sedore though, I have a few choice words for him and my dagger is quite sharpened.
