Swing You Sinners and the Seducing Woods

I have finally finished Whole Cake Island!!! Watching this arc reminded me of the old short 1930s cartoon called 'Swing you Sinners'. Specifically, the Seducing Woods.

Here are some similarities I have noticed between Whole Cake Island: The Seducing Woods and the short 1930s cartoon Swing you Sinners.

1. The protagonists seemingly seal their fates upon entering.

2. A sinister song sang by evil anthropomorphic things about the fate protagonists are about to suffer.

3. The anthropomorphic things manipulate the protagonists' surroundings in order to trap and kill them.

4. Even the ground comes to life!

5. Animals speak

6. The protagonists are threatened by antagonists with blades

7. The protagonists are wearing hats (that's not important)

8. Some of the protagonists are trapped in another world by the antagonists

9. The antagonists are sadistic and take pleasure in tormenting the protagonists telling them,'you're never going to get away'.

10. The antagonist tries to cut one of the protagonists, but the protagonist escapes (for now).

I may have been sidetracked slightly, but I did it! I finished Whole Cake Island 😤

All I know for sure about the Seducing Woods on Whole Cake Island is that Zoro would’ve found his way out on the first try.
