Would it be possible for people new to this plot join the rp? I just heard about this from the planned event, but this is my wheelhouse and I'd be very interested in attending/joining.
Yeah, absolutely! That’s part of why I, personally, wanted to look into running something like this (and @maelstrom-command, who are running the plot itself, were extremely permissive and helpful in getting it set up!).
I was gonna be involved in the plot (my Sister was at the bombing itself - a bomb almost went off in his face, and half his face is still pretty badly burned from the blasts that DID go off near to him) but it felt weird to be involved in the capacity of “a Sister” by myself. I thought it was likely that a lot of other Sisters would be interested in helping out too, so I thought it’d be good for someone to do something to provide an “in” in that respect.
And because I am a bossy sort, of course if I think “someone” should do something then I first of all ask myself if that someone could possibly be “me”, and here we are ;P
Happy Birthday! May flights of Mako-chans sing your praises!
yessssssssss <3 thank you!
Walking inside, Ami was surprised to see that her mother was at home.“Oh, Ami! I was cleaning out the closet and I found some old drawings of yours.” Her mother said as she handed Ami some old and brittle pieces of construction paper. Ami looked at the old drawing, it was a childs drawing for sure, but there was a stick figure drawing of herself wearing a long blue dress, next to a tall woman with brown hair that was held back in a pony-tail and a green dress, a blonde girl with an orange
so basically when i write, my secret is to throw a ton of plot hooks at the metaphorical wall and see what sticks.
in this case, i was laying out the idea that the senshi subconsciously remember the silmil and that it manifested in different ways. in ami’s case she, as a very young kid, would have described the happier parts of the silmil straight-up and people would have just been “oh what a nice imagination you have sweetheart” and not put any more thought into it. the idea was that as ami got older, she didn’t consciously remember the silmil and so that faded away.
if i ever revise it, i’ll probably drop the scene though. it doesn’t add much and i was just throwing a plot hook out there to see how it fits
I see your username and think of the climax of space Mutiny where Dave Ryder yells "RAAAAAAAAAH!" Then gently leaves the golf cart engine speeder. But in a gay lady way.
awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww yeah.
B)
"How about 'Slab Bulkhead!' or maybe 'Blast Hardcheese!'" Minako suggested. Usagi held a finger to her lip as she thought aloud, saying "maybe... 'Gristle McThornbody'? or... I know! 'Crunch Buttsteak!'" "Guys!" Makoto yelled back as she snapped the youma's neck with her foot, "I'm right here ya know!"
oh my god
i think i love you for writing this.

What I was asked:
Favorite food? I am a hardcore foodie: I love lots of different kinds of food. But earlier today I was thinking about how much I adore a good Reuben.
Favorite book? 'Small Gods' was the first Discworld novel I ever read. I read it when I was fourteen and it ended up informing a lot about how I view the topic of religion.
An unpopular OTP? Shipping and I are an odd topic: I actually try to avoid doing it as much as possible, because I want to enjoy the narrative being presented to me rather than trying to force my own view on it. But... well, I am a little depressed at how little love Ukyou and Konatsu get.
Least favorite subject in school as a kid? I actually liked all my classes. I just hated everyday life in school.
Main fandom(s)? Ranma One-Half, My Little Pony, Star Driver, Revolutionary Girl Utena... there's a lot of things that I enjoy, really.
How many followers? Nine here, fifty-two on Ask Jellybean and one hundred and forty-one on Rumic Out-Of-Context Theater. I'm a little surprised by that one.
How many people you are following? One hundred and forty seven.
Favorite fictional character? How do I even answer that? For the moment I'm going to say Todoroki Yachiyo, for her charm and kindness as much as for her obliviousness, obsession and occasional bouts of terrifying paranoia.
Least favorite time of the year? Summer. I am a creature of cold climates and long nights. Heat makes me lethargic and weak.
Favorite thing to do in your spare time that doesn’t have to do with the internet? Read. I should find some less escapist hobbies.
Birthday? November the Twenty-Fourth, Anno Domini Nineteen Hundred and Eighty-Two. Very early in the morning, suffocating on my own umbilical cord.
And for you, my friends? Hmm
Do you identify as a geek? If so, when do you think you started doing so?
Name a non-fiction book that you enjoyed reading.
Mustaches: charming or disgusting?
Favorite evening beverage?
Worst movie you saw last year?
Best movie you saw last year?
Which chocolate do you prefer: white, dark, or milk? If you enjoy chocolate, that is. I shouldn't assume.
Do you know any other languages than English? If so, which ones and how much?
Turning one I got around, what was your favorite subject in school as a kid?
Have you ever considered changing your name?
What's that smell?
