something something, flowery and the flowers have been taken care of in a flower pot and is placed in the living room since toriel and asgore moved in together after the wedding. aka tenna has been aware of the flowers' existence since he was first bought/handed down for the dreemurr household

something something they have both watch the marriage flourish, their children growing up, their family remaining content and happy, as if they themselves were also a part of the family. until things start to fall apart

something something both the flowers and tenna have constantly witnessed toriel and asgore raise their voices at one another as asriel and kris cry and seek comfort by watching the tv. it was only when asgore moved out with the flowers that tenna lost touch with asgore, who left a bitter note to him for neglecting his family to discover the truth even when no one blamed him for whatever happened.

something something the flowers recognized that while asgore had done some damage to the family, they still feel pity for the father who continued to tend to their fragile bodies with gentle hands and open his heart to them about his desires and regrets and longing and hopefulness, that his family are still okay, that things will be okay.

something something if tenna stayed in castle town and the flowers were replanted there, tenna and flowery... are gonna have to process a lot of family trauma together.

edit: i know flowers can't grow in castletown, just let me be delusional for this yaoigem 👹
