❅ FEATURING : Mera Ivi of Talgar & Cassandra Pentaghast // @seekerdivine
❅ Closed Starter ;; semi-plotted
Mera sat around the fire, as she waited for the others to show up for the contract. She would have been more than happy to do this by herself, but the contractor decided he wanted more people on it. The whole 'the more the merrier' concept, though Mera though the man was an idiot. It wasn't the more that made them successful, it was the skill. She prayed to the dragons that she wasn't paired with a bunch of imbeciles.
Well, already one was. The first one showed up, as she brushed a sharpening rock up against her steel blade. The mumbling of the man about a so-called 'fake witcher'. For the first part of it, she ignored it, preferring to spend more time ensuring her blade was ready (and maybe even use against this jerk). Her eyes glanced up, gold eyes catching the second one who came up, greeting the other man who she assumed they knew each other, and then her eyes glanced over toward the woman who was showing up.
But she was distracted at first as the men started up again. How a woman was claiming she was a witcher when no woman could survive. She didn't wait for a second, her finger grabbed a dagger that had been hidden in her boot, throwing it between one of the man's legs, just inches from his jewels. "Perhaps you could speak to my face then assume I'm deaf. I can hear you, and I can smell what you were doing last night. So if you want to keep those things precious between your legs, I advise you such your goddess forsaken mouth. I love to see you go up against this ancient Leshen on your own without a witcher by your side," Yes, she had done her own research, spoke around. She knew exactly what they were going up against. It wasn't just a monster, it was going to be a being who imployed the entire forest against them.
"But hey, I can use my silver sword for other means, let you two die. Just eat your food and shut up," She grumbled and then turned her attention toward the woman. The one who didn't seem to criticize her. "You look quite capable with a sword," She said, a smile on her lips. "I made some beef stew, are you hungry?"
