SAGAU Wanderer/Scaramouche-centric w/ Reader [in game as a Seelie and anon base] Animatic WIP
This is just 23 seconds of the WIP so far that i had and just started doing it - back on my animatics grind. The hardest part is lining up the frames when you don't know what you're doing. lol. I'll add more tags when i do a longer stretch of animatic.
Song - Somebody Real by CG5.
which is how I've been using as an example my Wanderer characterisation when someone asks "how i write my Wanderer, he doesn't act like how i normally read". When i heard the song on my star shuffle thing, I thought it was a really good fit themes wise, idk man.
I've got most of the song stick figured out and have only just started doing these storyboards so expect delays like the other two SAGAU animatics ive done [I will finish them the transitions slapped on the harbingers animatic ngl]

#CANDACE
Candace found you when a sandstorm had kicked up in Aaru village, with riftwolves roaming on the village grounds. You were desperately battling against the sandstorm whilst trying to avoid the riftwolves' jaws, and you would have become riftwolf chow had she not stepped in to save you. Like a true warrior of the Great Red Sand, she repelled the riftwolves' attacks with practised ease before offering a kind hand to you once they were taken care of.
Like any sane person would, you didn't hesitate to accept the protection she was willing to provide your seelie-turned self. Candace wouldn't mind you following her back to the inner part of Aaru Village since you're just a harmless little, albeit strange creature in her eyes - and she would be pleasantly surprised upon realising that you want to stay with her.
Candace would instantly warm up to you. How could she not, when all you've done is be cute give her and her people valuable companionship? She starts looking forward to seeing you play with the children during her morning patrols; now that you're here, Aaru Village is suddenly bursting with life as joyful laughter rings in the place of silence.
She appreciates it whenever you attempt to help her solve a dispute between two people, or decide to accompany her as she patrols the village to repel any threat. Although she commends your bravery, she'd be a little hesitant about letting you tag along when she's heading out during a sandstorm, worried that you might get hurt while she's fighting the monsters.
As Candace possesses an innate nature for taking care of others, you'll no doubt be living your best seelie life if she's the one you've chosen to stay with. You'd have your very own cushion to rest on in her room, and she'd even make a pouch that's big enough for you to hide in when there's danger. It'll eventually become a habit for her to call out to you whilst holding the pouch open, expecting you to pop inside every time she's about to go out.
She'd sometimes leave you in Cyno's or Dehya's care on her busy days. She trusts no one else but those two to take good care of you, and would make them promise that they won't let you stray from their sight. If anything bad happens to you while she's away... Well, they wouldn't want to find out.
Until you find a way to tell Candace your real name, she'd call you Iti, which means "moonlight" in Sumerian. After all, you are the silver light that made Aaru Village bloom in the darkest hour.
#KAVEH
Kaveh first met you when he was locked outside of Al-Haitham's house one night. As he was despairing over the fact that he's missing the spare key his roommate had given him, you floated up to him from behind with a familiar jingle which caught his attention. Earlier, you had come across Al-Haitham looking at Kaveh's key, and immediately snatched it out of his hand with the intention of giving it to Kaveh once you find him.
Kaveh has no idea what type of creature you are and felt slightly awkward when you held his key out with a tiny paw. At first, he doubted that it was his but when you insisted by shoving the key into his hand, he relented by taking it. He was surprised to find the door unlocked after he tried the key, and wondered how you knew it was the key to Al-Haitham's house and that he was looking for it; nevertheless, he was grateful to you. Kaveh didn't expect you to follow him inside however and when he noticed, he tried to shoo you away; he only stopped when you flew around the house and helped him tidy the spaces up (read: putting Al-Haitham's hard-to-read books back in their shelves) to the best of your ability. Huh, maybe having you around wouldn't be so bad, he thought, subconsciously petting you with a smile.
Kaveh gets another (mini) roommate. It'd take him a while to get used to living with a pet seelie, and once he does, he'll wake up expecting to see you sleeping adorably on his pillow, or balancing a fresh cup of coffee on your head by his bed. If you're still sleeping when he wakes up, he'd cuddle you like a teddy bear until you've roused yourself from your slumber. The little things you do for him would put him in a better mood than before, and Kaveh would also find himself smiling more often, especially if you're with him.
It'll be a plus if you've studied architecture, civil engineering or interior design back in the modern world. You'd be able to help him with his work and once he realises how intelligent you are, he'd teach you the common language of Teyvat so that the two of you could communicate better. Kaveh will eventually see you more as a companion instead of a pet, and he'd start introducing you as his assistant to his colleagues. Al-Haitham can go ahead and think of him as a lunatic for treating you like a human for all he cares.
Since Kaveh doesn't know what seelies are, he wouldn't know that you don't need to eat in order to live (more that you can't since you don't have a mouth...). He would try to share some of his food with you, but when he discovers that you can't eat, he'll feel a little bad about eating in front of you. He'd describe the taste of the food to you instead, and would occasionally make comments about you trying a certain dish out if you ever get a chance to be a human. In his free time, Kaveh would sometimes browse through the books on strange creatures in the Akademiya's library in hopes of learning more about your race.
Kaveh would feel absolutely betrayed if you show signs of favouring Al-Haitham over him. He won't hesitate to march up to the Scribe and pick a fight with him as he accuses Al-Haitham for trying to steal you from him; you're his seelie and assistant, so Al-Haitham should go get his own!
Later on, Kaveh would make a miniature Mehrak for you. It's not as advanced as his, but it has a text-to-speech function built in; it can scan texts and read them out loud for your convenience. He'll stick a matching feather accessory on you as well so that others will recognise you as his seelie, and it'll also allow him to track you down if Al-Haitham takes you away he ever loses you.
#WANDERER
While you were vibing with the aranaras, a Fatui pyro agent suddenly grabbed you out of nowhere. You didn't know why you were getting kidnapped when you're just hanging out with Sumeru's vegetables, and it wasn't until you heard him mention Dottore's name did you realise that he was one of the Doctor's subordinates. Fortunately for you, Wanderer happened to be passing by and ended up beating the pyro agent to oblivion as he reminded the puppet of his Fatui past, thus becoming your unconventional hero.
Although Wanderer would be silently questioning why you're following him, he wouldn't try to drive you away; he'd take you to Nahida and ask her about you. As the God of Wisdom, Nahida would know what you truly are after observing you for a bit, and tell Wanderer that you're a human who was cursed to take on this form. She notes that you're different from the other seelies and would ask him to watch over you while she looks into Irminsul. Begrudgingly, Wanderer accepts the babysitting task she has given him.
Now that he knows you're formerly a human, he would treat you like one... and rather coldly. But that's not enough to drive you away apparently, and Wanderer would be bewildered if you show him any form of affection. Nuzzle his cheek, sit on top of his hat, or push against his lips if you're feeling bold - the latter would fluster him so much that he'd refuse to look at you for the rest of the day.
Wanderer would eventually get used to your attention and expect you to stick with him since Nahida had trusted him to take care of you. Although you can't talk, he understands your intentions through your actions alone. Whether it'd be you wanting to check a vendor out on Treasures Street, to visit Nahida for whatever reason, or to decorate him with Sumeru roses... He'd throw the roses out later but secretly keep one as a memento of the time he spent with you.
Wanderer is surprisingly a good babysitter (or seeliesitter?). He keeps you safe from the Fatui and allows you to seek refuge under the shade of his wide-brimmed hat when it gets too hot during the day. If it becomes too chilly for you at night, he'd let you tuck yourself in his kimono. At one point, Wanderer laid himself down beside your slumbering self on the grass as he covered you with his hand.
If you try to fly off to chase after Aether or your favourite Sumeru character, Wanderer would block your path with his Anemo powers or stop you by grabbing your tail-like part. Don't get mad at him now, he's only trying to look after you like Nahida had asked. He's definitely not afraid of you abandoning him...
Nahida would be very happy to see Wanderer getting along with you, and would ask you to be a good friend to him as she also promises to find a way for you to regain your human form. It just so happens that Wanderer is thinking of the same thing - of helping you become human again.
Yust the creator having a sele form that no one knows about and them causing chaos.

Warnings: none
So they weren't supposed to be able to do that? Oh... Okay...
Na they will figure it out.
• It most definitely took a while to get used to, I mean being able to go from a human to a tiny floating blob of stars isn't something that you get a tutorial for after getting isekai'd. But the opportunities you get to mess with the characters are more than worth it.
• Most people that see you don't think much more than merely a seelie that was graced with a bit of the Creator's energy so they don't bother you much. Of course, violence against anything that the creator has recognized is strictly prohibited and a crime punishable by a life sentence.
• Start following anyone around and you will make them have a brain-dead moment with how many times they have thought the creator is near them.
• Oh and characters like Xiao and Scara can't even swat you away, but unfortunately, they can still ignore you and probably will for some time. Luckily after a while, they will warm up to you and if you decide to leave to confuse another poor soul will most definitely track you down to see if you're okay. My heartttt
• Now some characters like Tighnari and Zhongli would slowly catch on to that you aren't exactly just a seelie. Tighnari would probably leave it at that but Zhongli is a bit more tricky since he has experience in shape-shifting and is way too knowledgeable about anything connected to the creator, you either run now or are exposed and there's no in-between.
• I just can't get over how hilarious a cute, small, hyperactive seelie would look following around the calm and scary characters. Imagine Cyno threatening someone to scare them into spilling info about a runaway thief and you peacefully sleeping between his ears on his headpiece, or Scara berating his subordinates while there's a seelie just nudging his hand trying to get his attention.
You remember being in your bed having a having a strange dream. You were in a void floating, nothing weighing you down.
Safe and warm... Nothing could hurt you here.
You feel like you could be here for forever.
Wake up.
Hmmn..
Wake up.
Just a few more minutes..
WAKE UP.
You open your eyes, blinded by the bright lights. You're on the floor, you look around and two figures and... Another half-way re-materializing?
What?
You look around frantically noticing that the technology is much more advanced then where your from, and then you notice your much more shorter than before and...
You no long have arms.
Huh.
Nor legs.
Huh.
You can float now.
Huh.
You're now a floating blob.
HUH!?
You squeak loudly, the two finally noticing you or we're they just ignoring you for their conversation with the silver headed person? Who knows.
"Ah, seems like our small friend is awake." A voice rang out.
You look at the pretty lady. You're eyes? Are now wide open in alarm.
Wait... She looks familiar. You're sure seen her from somewhere... But where?
Wait.
No it can't be...
Don't tell me...
That's.
Kafka.
"Sadly, we must leave now... Shame I couldn't have a small chat with you." She said.
"Hmm, maybe next time." Her voice rang out.
Before you can make another noise they leave. Leaving with only you and... The now unconscious person on the ground.
Oh no.
Lmao hope you guys enjoyed this. I plan to make more parts but that might take a while.
Sorry for my hiatus on writing I just had writers and art block and I keep procrastinating, I've just been busy doing cosplay and stuff. So hopefully this is ok for you guys.
To be honest I might tweak this in the future who knows. But I plan to make this yandere but I'm leaning more on platonic than romantic though.
Hopefully I write more since it genuinely is fun to write lil blurbos.
Synopsis: You decide to do some experimenting without your family watching. Your little experiments catch some attention, though.
Note: here we go guys, we going straight into it 🏋🏼 oh and by the way, if you want to be added to a taglist for this series, lmk in the asks or through my inbox!! 🫶
The next few days were a blur as your hilichurl family packed up and began moving away from their home camp. Considering what you had overheard last night, you weren’t surprised to see that you were all on your merry way to a whole other area. You were now camping in a more open field, away from the strange temple…thing.
One morning, though, you were a bit shocked to find that your family of hilichurls had halved in number completely. You noticed Mister Goblin was one of them...even their supplies were considerably shortened compared to last night.
You quickly found out that your sudden move was linked to the visit from that icy abyss mage. You thought the big, scary lawachurl was the leader of all of them. Apparently some tiny bird-looking creature was scarier than him, funnily enough.
You also figured out that Mister Goblin was out in a party of other hilichurls to do something. Maybe they were hunting, or doing a thing the big, scary abyss mage was telling it to do! These were all just guesses, but you supposed you’d see him later today.
But the abyss was no matter to laugh about. Their aura was imposing and dark...just being in their presence was enough to send shivers down your spine. You had a strong feeling that meeting them would cause problems.
"Okay, time to be a big kid now..." You huffed to yourself in determination.
With your hilichurl mask still strapped to your head, you decided to sneak off towards the stone arch you had come from. Your plan was to continue trying to shift between your two forms, and you thought doing it next to the structure would help. Informing the hilichurls of your leave would cause at least one of them to follow you (you never left without company), and you didn't want them finding out about your other form...yet. You still had to be the magical superhero with a secret identity!
That wasn't the only reason, though.
With every passing moment in this world, you felt...different. Thinking upon your past would cause your thoughts to become clouded, as if your brain was trying to hide it from you.
An example was what had happened the day you arrived. When you arrived through the arch, you went to sleep with a fired-up will to go back and bring your cousins in this new world to play. That was always your reaction to new things—you'd want to share them with the two who you saw as siblings you never had.
But when you woke up the next morning, that spark had disappeared. Your first thoughts consisted of how to adjust to this new world, and you only remembered your need to see your cousins later in the day.
Perhaps it was no longer a need anymore, and you weren’t sure how to feel about that. Scared? Confused that your tiny brain was making you forget things?
Even now, you could feel something clawing at your head. Just thinking about it now was already starting to make your head hurt. Your mind was constantly racing with thoughts and questions, but it also felt like it was trying to erase certain things.
And maybe it succeeded, because you couldn't even remember what you were trying to think of earlier.
You floated next to the arch, examining the structure with a squint. You floated through it—nothing. It was just some ruined arch. Just strolling on through didn't take you back home.
You should've been scared. Upset, even. But you weren't. You weren't sure if it just wasn't hitting you yet that you were stuck here, or if you didn't care.
Or maybe you just couldn't remember why you should be terrified.
You shook your head, snapping yourself out of your thoughts as you looked around. No one was there—you were free to test things out now!
"Day two...operation un-jellify is underway!" You called out confidently, though your words, as per usual, came out in squeaks and chirps. That didn't deter you, though, as you pumped your tiny jelly fists into the air. "...Maybe I shoulda made a plan first."
Nevertheless, you looked around the area for ideas. You tried spinning around, doing tricks in the air...you twirled around you physically couldn't continue, leaving your vision spinning for three minutes straight. You even tried screaming—
Nothing.
You groaned, flopping onto the grass tiredly. You've been trying for so long! Nothing was working, and it's been hours since you've started!
(It's only been five minutes.)
You quickly dragged yourself off the ground, not only because you were ready to try again, but you didn't want something to step on you. Yeah, you were flopped on the ground once before, only for the babychurls to accidentally trample over you as they ran by chasing a crystalfly. Not a great experience.
"I just wanna be a person again!" You teared up, punching your tiny fists against the stone arch despite it doing nothing to the surface. It's not like you were trying to break it, but still...it made your mood a lot worse as you had the sudden urge to see something break at your hands.
Were you being a little overdramatic? Yes, but you were far too upset to care at that point.
“Okay, I gotta focus!” You declared to yourself, trying to push away your frustrations. “You can do this…maybe.”
Clearly, trying to change your form by thoughts alone wasn’t enough. You’ve thought of becoming human multiple times during your stay, and that didn’t change you back. Screaming out transformation words didn’t seem to help either. What else could it have been?
Maybe there was something you needed to…interact with? A magical object?
You looked around the area, floating aimlessly around. You began to drift from the stone arch, and found yourself back at your original home camp near the large temple.
“What a big scary house,” You muttered as you looked up at the stone building, which was glowing an intimidating red. “Wonder who would live in here.”
But the doors wouldn’t budge. You decided to lay off the scary building and explore elsewhere, but there wasn’t really much to see in these ruins.
“Ughhh.” You found yourself floating aimlessly in the air, groaning in frustration. “Maybe I can’t do anything. Am I stuck as a tiny yellow jelly rabbit forever??”
The thought was terrifying. You liked your hands! The ones with five fingers! Your legs were nice to have, too. You just wanted to be able to talk, or something…! You flopped your body onto a nearby stone sculpture, resisting the urge to have a breakdown.
‘Huh, what a weird stone thingy,’ You mused as you wriggled inside the structure, fitting very snugly into the open top. ‘What a comfy space. Maybe I should ask Mister Goblin to bring this back to—‘
Your thoughts were interrupted when you felt something shift. Your eyes shot open as you realized that you were no longer feeling the cool, smooth surface of the stone, but rather, you were practically ejected from the comfy statue.
“Hey! That’s not very nice!” You scolded the statue with a frown, only to freeze in realization.
You could…hear yourself talking. Not the strange squeals and babbling, but your voice.
"I-It worked?” You raised your hands up in front of your face, flexing your fingers as you almost cried at the sight. “It worked! I dunno how it happened, but I’m not a jelly anymore!”
You were so excited, that you grabbed ahold of the random boy who appeared out of nowhere’s shoulders and shook him eagerly without thinking straight. "Mister Strange Guy, it worked!!!" You couldn't help but laugh, relieved that you were truly not stuck as a rabbit jelly like you thought.
Wait…there was a stranger?
“WAHHH!” You screamed, jumping back in fright as you hid behind the stone statue. Now that you looked at it, it was pretty small. “Stranger danger…”
The strange boy's wide red eyes stared down at you, blinking curiously. But there was also a bit of concern in them. "...Um…hello. Razor was told there was…a falling star. From the sky."
A falling star? Well, whatever it was, you definitely wanted to see it! Or…maybe he was referring to you. Did he see you try to plunge like a meteor down to the ground earlier? Whoops.
"Oh..." You smiled nervously, trying to think of an excuse. It didn't help that you were trying to get used to talking again, after days of talking to yourself due to the language barrier. And on top of that, you were just realizing that there were indeed other humans here in this world. "Ehm...I don’t know what you’re talking about! No falling stars. That sounds really cool though!"
Maybe you were just really lucky today, because he bought it and nodded slowly in understanding. The boy—Razor, you recalled, then tilted his head to the side. His messy gray hair fell across his face, and you idly wondered how it’d be like to brush through it. If you looked closely, you could probably see a question mark appear above his head. "...Oh. I see. But…why are you here?”
Scratching your cheek, you shrugged your shoulders nonchalantly. “I just wanted to explore…and…I was looking for a place to sleep. Yes.”
“Out here?” The boy looked concerned as he looked at you. “Not safe…for little child. I will help.”
"Heyy, I can—wait, help? You mean help me??"
"Yes," He nodded slowly. "I have iron claws and teeth of thunder. I protect you."
You gasped, looking at him with stars in your eyes. "Iron claws and teeth of thunder?! So cool! But I don't need protecting, Mister Razor. I can take care of myself very well!"
As if on cue, a small hydro slime popped out of the ground. You shrieked, practically crawling over the boy's shoulder to hide behind him. "I-It's a water jelly!"
The boy watched in confusion as he looked over his shoulder, seeing you look back up at him with comical tears streaming down your face. He patted your head reassuringly before turning to the slime, where he merely gazed at with an electrifying glare.
...And then he stabbed the slime with his claymore—wait, where did he pull that out from?
"Oh." You stared blankly at where the slime once stood, before looking up at the boy. "Umm...I was just...testing you. Yes. A test."
Instead of seeing right through you like you anticipated, Razor stared at you expectantly. You swore you also saw a hopeful glimmer in his eyes. "...Did Razor pass?"
Your nervous expression melted into a grin, giggling as you patted his shoulder. "Yes, Mister Razor! You did!"
A pleased smile appeared on his face as he looked accomplished. He didn't say anything, but his aura seemed a lot happier now. He was like a cute little puppy who had just gotten a treat.
"Well, thank you for saving me, Mister Razor!" You hummed, before turning around and beginning to march off. "But I gotta go now! See ya!"
"Wait!" The boy called out, quickly running to stand in front of you as his lips were curled into a frown. "Stay. Cannot...protect yourself."
You spluttered, huffing as you crossed your arms. "But I...oh."
Right...the slimes. You didn't want to deal with those terrifying jelly things that were almost half the size of you. And with all things considered, you really didn't know what else lurked out there. Your hilichurl family was very insistent on keeping you where they could see you, which wasn't exactly a big range.
Though reluctant, you decided it was best to stay with him for now as you sighed with a nod. "Okay, fine. I'll stay with Mister Razor, but I have to go home before it gets dark!"
The boy perks up, before nodding in agreement. "Okay."
"Good!" You clapped your hands together, before placing them on your hips. "Alright, Mister Razor, guess we're friends now! And since we're friends—oh! My name is [y/n]!" You introduced yourself quickly.
"[y/n]," He hummed, before placing a hand on his chest. "I am Razor. The wolves are my Lupical. My family."
As you two began to walk towards the forest—Wolvendom, you learned it was called—you looked curious at his revelation as you'd never heard of such a thing before. "Really? You're related to wolves!?"
"Yes," He smiled. "They raised me. We live together."
"Woah. So cool!" You looked up at him excitedly, clasping your hands together. "Can I meet your family? I wanna see!"
“You…want to meet my Lupical?” He tilted his head to the side, a look of surprise appearing on his scarred face.
“Mhm! Pleaseee?”
You thought he’d shut down the idea as fast as it came, but instead, he considered the request thoughtfully. “My family is out. To hunt. When Lupical gets back, you can…say hello.”
‘Well, it wasn’t a no…’ You thought to yourself as you beamed, nodding. “Okay!”
With a pep in your step, you walked ahead as you became distracted by…various things. You stumbled upon a cool-looking blue flower, while Razor watched as you picked some up, and then…put it in your mouth?
Did you eat these sorts of things? He’s tried eating them before, too. He didn’t like it. He wondered if you did.
In reality, you were just trying to see if you would be able to absorb the little blue flower in your current form. You held it to your stomach, but it didn’t seem to work. So you thought, maybe the next best thing would be to eat it.
The flower had a tinge of sweetness to it as you munched down. It was only a bit though, so there was nothing special about it. As soon as you swallowed it, you sat there for a moment. Then another.
And then you felt it. The burst of energy that tickled your stomach after it went down, just like how it’d feel when you absorbed something. It must mean something, you were sure, but you just…didn’t know what exactly it was.
“I should eat all the pretty plants.”
You joined Razor back on the trail, but now you were practically eating anything you saw in sight. Whether it be another one of those blue flowers, or the tall mint leaves, or even those yellow sweet flowers you remembered from before (those were your favourites), you ate them all.
Razor was amazed to see you run around, stuffing your face like the forest was a whole buffet. Did children like eating plants? He mostly ate meat, but he did have the occasional vegetable (ahem, potatoes). Still…he knew most kids turned their noses at the sight of them.
Another thing he noticed about you was that you were glowing. Not so much that it was noticeable, but it was there. Faint. Maybe it was because it was bright outside? You seemed really shiny to him.
He also noticed the little rabbit ears above your head. They felt like jelly when he touched them. When he first saw you, he thought you were a bunny. You didn’t exactly smell like one though, so he ruled that out.
Then again, you didn’t smell like anything. You didn’t smell like an animal, but you didn’t smell like a human either. The only thing he really smelled on you was the wildflowers you were shoving in your mouth like it was your last day on Teyvat.
The rest of the walk was uneventful. The boy was rather quiet in nature, finding trouble in speaking due to his isolation from socialization. He tended to stick with his wolf family because of this, as being around others forced him to speak more than he was comfortable with.
This tiny, glowing child in front of him didn’t seem to mind that, though.
You were talkative in nature, he picked up on that when you babbled on and on about achieving something from sleeping (he still didn’t understand why). But he noticed your constant conversation was more so you ranting on and on about the most random things, without prompting him to answer any of them.
Of course, you did ask him a few questions…like the names of certain flowers, or about his Lupical. But it didn’t go any farther than that. He didn’t feel like he was being interrogated. You seemed to be content with him listening along to your mindless chatter.
He appreciated it. Whether it was intentional or not.
“Razorrr,” Your voice snapped him out of his thoughts, as he tilted his head at you. “Where are we going? We’ve been walking around in circles.”
“Oh.” He stops in his tracks, looking around. It seemed he got distracted. “...Sorry.”
You only smiled, patting his arm reassuringly as you looked up at him. “It’s okay, Mister Razor. Hey, I have an idea! Let’s play hide-and-seek! I hide, and you seek!”
He raises an eyebrow, frowning slightly. “...Hide-and-seek?”
“Gasp…Mister Razor, don’t tell me you’ve never played hide-and-seek before!” Your hand flew to your open mouth in shock, before shaking your head. “That’s not good! That means we absolutely have to play now!”
Despite his confusion, you walked him through the game step by step. It wasn’t that hard anyways, given the simplicity of the game’s objective, but you were unsure if he’d understand it. Mostly because you tend to ramble when you explain things, overdoing it and making it a lot more complicated than it really is.
But to your surprise, he nodded in understanding once you finished. “Okay. Razor understands.”
“Good!” You clapped happily. Well, if he got it, who were you to question it? “Now, count to ten…really slowly! Don’t peekkk,” You reminded him as he closed his eyes, and you immediately ran off to look for a hiding spot.
You knew not to run too far. You didn’t want to get lost, but you also just didn’t want to make it too difficult for your new friend’s first game.
As you looked around for a hiding spot, you looked up at one of the trees. Eyeing the indents in the tree, you wondered if you could…
Turning back to look at Razor, you saw that he was covering his eyes in the distance. You then looked back up at the tree, before launching yourself at the trunk.
With little time to spare, you did your best to climb yourself up onto the tree, where you settled on the lower branches comfortably with your back pressed up against the trunk. You got comfortable before looking down, holding back your giggles so you wouldn’t give away your location.
Suddenly, you heard rustling down below. The boy was running around, and you had to stop yourself from making any sounds as you watched him turn over a rock as if you were underneath it. You did notice that his nose was twitching a bit, as if he were trying to sniff you out. Which did make sense, but hey! Wasn’t that cheating?
Nevertheless, you kept quiet. He didn’t look like he was onto you, and you watched him pass by beneath you multiple times. There wasn’t any way that you’d—
“Found you!” You screamed when you heard a voice from behind, and your physical reaction almost made you fall straight out of the tree. Panic flashed onto Razor’s face for a brief moment, as his hand shot out to catch you by the poncho instinctively. “...You okay?”
“...Yep,” You held a thumbs up, before your smile melted into a pout. “But hey, you found me! Was it too easy?”
The boy smiled, nodding in confirmation. He was really just following your scent. He just got a little confused for a second, thinking you were on the ground. He just had to look up and see the faint glow from above.
“Aw, man. Guess I gotta find a better hiding spot!” You huffed, before poking the boy’s cheek gently. “Alright, Mister Razor! It’s your turn to hide!”
Razor’s eyes sparkled as he nodded eagerly, and the moment you blinked, he disappeared from sight. He seemed rather excited… “Wowie! That was fast! He must be super good at tag….”
You should definitely teach him more games later. Then you’d be able to play together! It’s been way too long since you’ve interacted with someone…in your human form, no less. You were excited.
After ten excruciatingly long seconds (it was only fair you gave him some time…you may have peeped just a tiny bit though), you finally hopped off the tree branch and started looking. You didn’t have Razor’s keen sense of smell, but you were good at seeking! You’d easily find your friends when playing, so finding the wolf boy would be a breeze.
You ran around looking up into the trees, staring into bushes and…okay, maybe you got a tiny bit distracted eating flowers when you found them, but you were still focused!
A quiet rustle caught your attention, and you whirled around to look for the source. There were bushes all around, but you squinted at one that moved a little too suspiciously for it to just be caused by the wind. You slowly snuck up to the bush.
Upon closer inspection, you noticed a spike of gray hair popping out from the green leaves.
“Boo!” You suddenly shouted as you pounced onto the shrub, giggling when you heard a startled yelp. “Mister Razor, I got you!”
The said boy finally popped his head out from the top of the bush, shaking his head to clear his hair of the small twigs and leaves that were strewn into the strands. He rubbed his head and glanced at you, before breaking out into a smile. “…Fun. Hide-and-seek is fun. Like hunting.”
You tilted your head, trying to piece the two together to see the similarities. Huh…now that you thought about it, hide-and-seek really was sorta like hunting. Except no one dies. “Oh, right! I see it now!”
The next words would die on your tongue as you looked up, seeing the sun high up in the sky. But it was now nearing the horizon, meaning it was a bit past the afternoon…but all you knew was that you should probably get back before your hilichurl friends began searching for you. “Okay Mister Razor, that was really fun! But I gotta go now. Mitamomma is gonna scold me if they find me alll the way out here?”
“…Mitamomma?”
“Mhm! So I’ll see you later!”
“Wait! But…you will be okay?” Razor stared down at you with worry, unsure if he should really let you wander off after the slime incident. “I can…come with you.”
“Uuhh, I don’t think that’s a good idea.” You laughed nervously as you recalled how…protective they were sometimes. One time, you tried introducing the new boar friend you made. You came into camp sitting on its back, explaining in incoherent squeaks that you made a friend after you shared a sweet flower with it. The hilichurls were not as welcoming as you thought they’d be, but they tolerated it as you fell asleep with your friendly boar that night.
…The next morning, it disappeared. Your family shrugged when you tried to ask, while some would even point into the distance, as if they were trying to say it ran away.
You were very sad about this, no doubt. But to cheer you up, they made you soup. The soup that day was really good.
They wouldn’t tell you what the secret ingredient was, though..
To this day, you made the assumption that they chased it away. Your boar friend was really happy with you, so there was no other possible explanation! You hoped it was doing well in life. Maybe it went back to it’s boar wife and children. Now that you thought about it, their protectiveness felt more like jealousy…because it wasn’t like the boar was trying to eat you or anything. At least, you hoped it wasn’t.
“Oh…okay,” Razor deflated at your rejection, his eyes casted down to the ground. “Will…Razor see you again?”
“Of course I will!” You giggled, patting his arm with a silly smile. “I’ll come to visit! You live in Wolfing-tom, right?”
He didn’t catch the way you completely botched the name. “Yes!”
“Then I’ll come back tomorrow to play again! I promise.” You held out your pinky, tilting your head to the side.
The wolf boy mimicked your actions, looking a little confused. “Um…”
“It’s a pinky promise!” You exclaimed, waving your pinky up at him. “Here, I’ll show you. Stick out your pinky like this, and…”
You grabbed his hand and brought it closer to yours, before linking your pinky fingers together. “There! A pinky promise! Now I can’t break it, or else my pinky will break!”
“W—What?!”
“Don’t worry Mister Razor, I’ll keep my promise!” You waved before running off, heading back towards your home. “I’ll see you tomorrow! Byebyeee!”
Although he remained surprised by your rather morbid words, he waved back at your retreating form. As you slowly became a simple dot in the distance, he turned back to walk into the forest with a nearly excited smile.
He just couldn’t wait to tell his Lupical all about you.
Note: hope this was okay! this series has been fun to write about so far ^^
Reader was originally in the modern world until she died after overworking yourself
The good news was you were isekai'd in her favorite game 'Genshin Impact', the bad news was she was isekai'd as a mini seelie yourself
You were fuming and scared, because firstly, you thought you were suppose to be isekai'd in a new body like one of those anime series you would watch
Having a seelie body meaning you could do nothing but float
Secondly, you was scared because how are you supposed to survive in the world of Teyvat without a physical body?!
Your prayers were then answered when Aether and Paimon found you roaming in the wild alone
Paimon explained the difference between a Seelie and a Mini Seelie but was confused on what was Seelie Reader doing on the wild and since mini Seelies are extremely rare to find
You were dancing in joy when Aether says he'll take you in as another companion as you three were now travelling across Teyvat to find the Seven and Aether's sister
You knew the storyline very well and would not worry too much unless you warned them about the dangers lurking nearby, until the unexpected happened
When Dvalin was free from the corruption, crashed the building the others were in and fell
The dragon barely got Aether as the others can only watched in horror while you were now flying fast towards him
While doing so, your mini Seelie body begin to glow bright until it was fully shaped into a human form
You were able to save Aether as floated towards the others and dropped yourselves in Dvalin's back while the others watched in awe and shock as the mini Seelie now had a physical body
You were shocked and surprised as you looked at your new form from the reflection of the water and examined yourself, making sure it wasn't a joke
But you were very happy now that you actually have a physical body and can transform back into a mini Seelie however you want
Soon after the fiasco was over, both Aether and Paimon asked you so many questions you could barely answer them all
But you were able to tell them the whole story on how you got here and would still like to stick to them more to travel with them and help Aether find his answers and his sister
(You left out the part that they were actually video game characters from your world)
You three then soon embark your journey to travel all across Teyvat and learn some secrets of this world
Unknowingly to you, you would also gain some love interests as well
About Seelie!Reader:
Seelie Reader can transform into a human to back into their mini form
Seelie Reader can also change her size and height as well
Seelie Reader can float in mid-air like Paimon but can also fly around however you like
Not to worry, you can walk and run too!
Seelie Reader doesn't have a pocket dimension like Paimon, but can enter the Serenitea Pot however you like
Suprisingly, you have healing abilities unlike any other mini Seelie would know
Your healing abilities are so helpful, it can even heal corrupted power with just a touch
You can also change your current colors by just eating something similar like the other mini seelies
One chomp on it and *POOF* your color is now changed
Even the color of your clothes will changed once you changed into a different color
Your seelie ears can twitch and move in however you want and how you actually feel
You were surprisingly and scaredly strong for some who looked weak
The one time the huge mitachurl's wooden shield ranned towards you, you panicked and ended up punching the shield as it broke but the mitachurl as well and it was down in an instant
The hilichurls immediantly scurried away after witnessing your brutal strength
Aether ended up helping you control your strength when he and Paimon witnessed it first hand (You pretty much scared them to death after that)
You can master all the weapons you choose and can switch the weapon however you liked
That's all for today folks and maybe I can make a Masterlist of Seelie Reader as well.
Thank you original creators of the inspiration of the Seelie Reader one shots and inspired by Mangwa 'I Have Become a Crow'.
That's something I'll definitely think of someday. See ya all next time!
Part 2 is here!!! This is actually all just fluff and nothing new regarding reader's seelie powers but ;)) Part 3 coming soon...maybe...
-It has been a week or two since the interaction and the both of you have been exchanging letters, due to the fact that you live in Qingce Village.
-You only went to Liyue Harbor for a bit as you had a few commissions and quests nearby there, it would have been a long trip back and forth from home. (He's glad that he met you but won't admit it out loud.)
-Now what surprised you was that he came to visit you, not because he had a job nearby but purely of his own accord. You felt a flutter in your , upon seeing him at your door.
-"... Chongyun?"
-A flush from his cheeks as he shifted onto his other leg.
-"...Hello."
-Happiness bubbled throughout your body. With a bright smile you ushered him into your humble abode. He looked at the scripts and maps on your walls, then glanced over to the collection of pressed flowers beside your small dining table.
-You poured him a cup of tea and placed a bowl of food in front of him. Cold noodles with soy sauce and some fresh greens on the side.
-"I-I really couldn't--" he tried to turn down the offer of food but the smile you gave him made him pick up his chopsticks.
-Mid-coversation, another knock came at the door. Raising an eyebrow, you went to see who could be looking for you.
-"[Y/N], sorry to trouble you at the moment but could you please get these to Granny Rouxin? I have to rush for a meeting with some customers."
-You nodded and closed the door to sit back down with Chongyun as to continue the conversation, it would also be quite rude if you were to leave a guest in your house but-- Granny Rouxin :(
-Almost as if he read your mind, he finished eating and set the dishes by the sink. You were about to protest and ask him to sit down but he grabbed your hand and led you out the door.
-"Let's go give the chief that package."
-Your heart skipped a beat as you looked at your hands. Walking up the trail and stairs, you arrived at the chief's residence. She opened a door with a smile and greeted you.
-"Ah, [Y/N]. Good to see you, I suppose you're here for delivery?"
-"Yes, here you go! Please continue to rest, don't worry about the village, we'll be fine. If anything happens please get Ju Hua to send a letter to me."
-The kind elderly lady had been ill for a few days now and the entirety of the village had urged her to rest, considering her age and her position. She had been taking it easy and not moving about too much, hopefully her fever would subside soon.
-"Thank you, you're always such a help around here. I'm grateful that you continue to stay here even though it's a quiet life," she sighs.
-It really was a shame that many of age had went to the city, leaving yougins and elderlies here. As much as you liked the city, the calmness of this village and its beautiful fields had captured your heart.
-"Of course, it really isn't anything, I love living here anyway!"
-Chongyun silently took note of what was going on in the conversation, feeling a small sense of pride and joy when he heard that you had been helping around in the village from THE chief.
-Wrinkled eyes smile as they slowly trail to the cryo user beside you, the warm hues turn into mischievous ones as she looks at your joined hands.
-"Thank you... Hmm, you didn't tell me you had a boyfriend?
-Immediately, the both of you separated with red faces. A chuckle escapes her throat as she waved the both of you off before returning to her bedroom.
-A moment or two passed as you both walked down the path, cryo tickling your skin as Chongyun desperately tried to calm himself down.
-A few kids came up to you with flowers and they babbled something about thanking you for helping them get their dolls back from the bad monsters before giggling and running off.
-Icy hues observed the situation and once again, he was reminded of how great a person you were. He knew from your letters that you liked to help out around the village but he didn't know it was to the extent that kids would come give you flowers.
-Warmth blossoms in his chest as he watches you smile at the kids. The way the wind blew your hair and how you gently pat the heads of the children made him smile like a fool.
-As you both continued to talk in your home, you failed to notice how late it was getting until the sounds of crickets chirping started. You asked Chongyun where he was staying and he was about to say something but nothing came out.
-"Ah...This is bad. I forgot that I didn't book a place to stay here..." (Because there were no inns (((:)
-'Archons, I'm so stupid' was probably what he was thinking at that moment.
-You tried to think of an idea but only one came to mind. Your palms sweated as you insisted that he stay with you in your house for the night. He tried to refuse but you were more adamant of not letting him sleep outside in the dangerous wilderness at night.
-With a huff, he accepted.
-One problem: The only place that was comfortable enough for sleep, (ie not the wooden chairs) was your bed. It's not like it was a tiny bed, but it was still flustering to be sharing the same bed! Especially since you're not dating like that or anything...! Even so, deep down you trusted Chongyun to not do anything.
-Jueyun Chili is the shade of red on your faces as you both lied down on the bed, you slowly turned over to meet his icy orbs looking at you before they averted away from your eyes.
-He was certainly free air-conditioning at the rate he was trying to cool hinself down. A soft laugh left your lips as you said goodnight before turning to face your back toward him.
-His heart stopped beating at a hundred miles per hour as he noticed that you were alseep. He, too was growing tired and closed his eyes to drift off into dreamland.
-Little did both of you know, that both of you would be awoken to the reality of your limbs tangled and arms wrapped around each other.

Part 1
Oh gawd my heart dropped thinking I lost the link to the first part of this, I swear I need to fix my shit uo
Aliceeeeee this art is so adorable!!! It fits perfectly to ur seelie headcanons and al haitham is so....😳😳😳🤤
Al-Haitham / gender-neutral reader.
Synopsis: Al-Haitham is stressed about writing his new research paper but finds some solace in your quiet presence.
— ( An extension of my seelie!reader headcanons with the Sumeru cast. )
An exhausted sigh slipped past Al-Haitham's lips as he tapped the blunt end of his pen incessantly on his desk. Numerous papers with messy scribbles were scattered haphazardly around him, signifying the unusually frazzled state his mind was in. Pausing, he then glanced over his shoulder to find your mini seelie self snoozing away on his pillow. For a moment, he considered asking Kaveh to look after you but quickly decided against it when he remembered his roommate throwing you out of the window to see how fast you can travel through the air the other day.
"... I'm not getting any work done today," he muttered, dropping his pen on his desk with a sharp clatter. That woke you up from your slumber, and you let out a squeaky noise of protest as you floated up from the pillow.
'Geez, I was having such a nice dream too!' you thought, folding your tiny seelie arms.
Rising from his chair, Al-Haitham walked towards his bed and plopped himself down on the mattress with his back facing the ceiling. He didn't bother changing into proper night clothes, which made you tug his hair to express your disapproval.
He lazily swatted you away, mumbling, "Let it slide for today. I'm tired."
A humming squeak left you as you carefully landed beside him on the pillow, and he turned his head to look at you, blinking wearily. When you tapped one of his eyelids, he chuckled breathily with the tiniest hint of a smile.
"I'm fine, Seel," he murmured, calling you by your nickname which he had come up with, "Sorry for waking you up." Since he doesn't know your real name and you don't know how to write the universal letters of Teyvat, he shortened Seelie to Seel and has been calling you that since then. Lifting a hand over your small form, he lightly patted you. "Go back to sleep. I also have to wake up early tomorrow..." Trailing off, he soon fell asleep, the weight of his hand squashing you flat.
The following morning, you woke Al-Haitham up by smacking his forehead multiple times - that with your loud squeaking effectively roused him from his deep slumber. Groaning, he rubbed the sleep off his eyes before leaving his room to wash himself up. You respectfully turned away when he returned with just a towel around his waist, which puzzled him slightly. Once he was dressed, he beckoned to you and promptly left his house to head to the library in the Akademiya.
On the way there, you noticed the papers in his grasp and flew lower before nudging his hand with an inquisitive squeak. Al-Haitham glanced down at you.
"That's the draft of my new research paper. It was what kept me up last night," he said, "We're going to the library because I need more references. Make sure to behave."
You could sense the stress in his voice, and his tense expression reminded you of the many nights where you'd lose your mind over writing your reports and theses.
'Fighting, Haitham. I feel you,' you thought.
The moment you both arrived at the library, Al-Haitham disappeared between the bookshelves to hunt for the references that he needed. You naturally followed him, curious about the Akademiya's literature collection. He emerged from the forest of books a few minutes later with a small pile tucked in the inside bend of his elbow and your bored self deflated on top of his head. The scholars in the library couldn't help but notice Al-Haitham's mini seelie companion, and one look from him was all it took to make them avert their gazes.
When he sat down at a table to start reading, you tried reading with him. Some of Teyvat's letters are similar to the English alphabet but you still couldn't make heads or tails of the text. As you moved to settle next to the book in his hands, Al-Haitham noticed you attempting to understand his reading material, and he arched an eyebrow at this.
"You seem to understand human speech, so you must possess a certain degree of intelligence. Are you able to read as well?" he inquired, and you moved your round body from side to side to wordlessly say no. "Hmm. I see." Al-Haitham stared at you for a few seconds before asking, "Do you want to learn how to read? I can take a break right now and teach you."
'Finally! I'll no longer be illiterate in this world!'
You perked up at his offer, and he took the way you burst out with joyful squeaky noises as a yes. Before he could do anything, you tugged his index finger and moved it to point at the window. Al-Haitham's eyes widened by a fraction. "You want to go outside?"
'You need a change of scenery, mister! Get some fresh air to destress,' you thought.
As if he could read your thoughts, he quietly stood up from his seat and said, "I suppose a change of scenery is needed."
After checking out the books he had taken off the shelves, he exited from the library with you perched on his right shoulder. You squeaked excitedly as you slightly bounced on the spot, eliciting a minuscule smile from him. Raising a hand from his side, he gently stroked you with the back of his index finger.
Even though Al-Haitham doesn't express himself often, he's glad that you're here to put his mind at ease.
