Catwoman and Batman by Mike S. Miller
The Cold Call Killer side quests in Batman: Arkham City provide an interesting change of pace in terms of how the player explores the city at large. In tying a series of side quests to a minor aspect of the environment (pay phones ringing), it pushes the player to pay attention to any changes in their mini-map or in their surroundings; in essence, these quests are teaching the player to try and fully understand the environment of Arkham City rather than just idly traveling through it.
In providing the information heavy Detective Vision and so many vertically advantageous locations for the player to traverse, Batman: Arkham Asylum greatly changes how stealth is employed by the player. By giving them so many advantages when going after groups of armed enemies, but still leaving them relatively vulnerable to gunfire, the game is able to create an intriguing mode of play, where the player is always at the advantage, but never completely invincible.
I still dislike Sefton Hill!

Sefton Hill’s gameplay in “Batman: Arkham Knight”, accomplished troughout mesh-swapping mod, by Tchi6! Just a tease of the video that is coming... SOON!
Dear Sefton Hill...
You do realise that Batman is universally accepted to be the king of angst and man pain? So was it really necessary to try and add to it by fridging female characters? A clue-no. I'm enjoying this game I really am but there seems like too much of a focus on the tank mode (strange considering batmans infamous non-fatal strategy), a disrespect towards female characters and some sort of confusion towards the comic book lore that you had so beautifully upholded before! I'm sorry but I was enjoying the game immensely until that hint of Tim x Barbara dropped and then I was just taken straight out if it,stuck questioning why you made this a thing and didn't just draw on the already developed relationship between Dick and Barb? Oh and making me cremate the Joker to start the game? Dick-move Rocksteady! I wasn't emotionally ready for that!!!!
Batman: Arkham Knight delayed, PC is digital-only
Strange things are afoot in Arkham City, as Warner Bros makes some interesting changes to Batman: Arkham Knight. First up: If you want the game on PC in the UK, it’s only getting a digital release – and no matter where you are in the world, it’s been pushed back by three weeks.
