I Need Your Opinion...
I have been debating whether or not to make a epilepsy based instagram account. I know there are a bunch already, but I kinda want to make one. What do you guys think?

My SEEG Story...
I know it has been too long! In my previous update post I talked about getting a SEEG. I got admitted into the hospital in the beginning of November...so I’m kinda late posting this lol. I had my surgery to get the electrodes inserted. But then in recovery I ended up having a hematoma that was the size of a fist. So I went back to the OR. I received 28 staples and then went to the ICU. I stayed there for half a day and then transferred to the EMU. Once I was in the EMU they finally hooked me up to the computer.
I went in for surgery on a Monday, and I didn't actually come to my regular self until Thursday. Lol. Part of that reason is because of the crazy seizures I was having. For some reason I do remember a pretty hot nurse in the ICU, which would have been Monday because they were about to transfer me. And then I was looking through my phone and I did text someone back on Tuesday, which I don’t remember.I also don’t remember them taking me back to the OR to get the electrodes out. I was on to many drugs I guess.
So that is a little overview about some stuff that happened in the hospital. I will post some more about my hospital stay and how I’m recovering.
Thanks so much for reading!
So yesterday I realized that I can't go to prom because my school does strobe lights every year. Pretty disappointed.
Seizures are so fun Epilepsy is just the greatest
Yes I had a seizure. Yes. I'm fine. No, I wouldn't like to recite my name, address and phone number, or tell you who the president is.
Epilepsy Problem #34
Knowing you're going to have seizure and having to scatter to find a safe place
Seizure problems
Everytime you slightly twitch people freak out. "Are you gonna be ok" You can't drive. Lots and lots of pills. Oh and frequent doctor visits. You know at one point you will have a seizure infront of your friends or BF/GF You get sick a lot at long periods of times. You have really good and healthy months but also bad ones You have to know your own limits, you just can't keep up with people anymore. Everytime you have a seizure and have to take "the pill" your drained for the rest of the week. You've probably had seizure in a public place. You're treated like an explosive that can blow any second. You're doctors know more about you than your friends. Concerts, haunted houses, dances, anything with strobe lights is a pain to deal with. When you tell people you have epilepsy and they don't believe you, then get freaked out, then concerned for you I'm proud to be epileptic I will never hide it. I have so many friends that care for me and know when I'm getting sick and care for me. It's important that your friends and family know your tell signs and how to help.
