I will say, as someone deeply obsessed with merfolk as a concept, I feel like this is the best possible arc to be starting right as I officially got into Aurora.
Look at these. Beautiful designs. The choice to have both humanoid fish-folk and more traditional merfolk cohabitating, with minor physical features that are juuust different enough to be noticeable but not enough to make them look like they don't belong together is just. AAAA I love this new Situation so much
