I'm on the last leg of my big overseas adventure and I'm quite fucking proud of myself!!
Have there been times that I wish I had a friend for some of the things I've been doing? Sure. But this has also kind of proven to me that I'm capable of doing many things on my own!
You know what I never did at home? Go out comfortably to restaurant on my own, or will myself out of my room to walk around aimlessly alone until I find something cool, or navigate weird ass tiny airports (for real, I walked off the plane in mykonos straight onto the tarmac and there was ONE security guy there being like 🧍♂️go that way... I guess? then there was a door for customs control but it just led you out of the building without seeing anyone).
ANYWAY, I did this, I planned and booked and paid for it all on my own!!
I see this as an absolute win... although I am definitely ready to come home now and go back to my quiet little life.
