An electrifying collection of stories bookended by gorgeous artwork!

'Shades of Intellect' by Trevor Wooten is a thrill ride of short stories packed with great imagination and some wicked fight scenes.
‘Til Death.
This rowdy ride, with private detective Jackson Dark, through the underbelly of Savanna, Georgia, reveals the city’s more colorful characters. Dark has a long history with the criminal fraternity and is adept at defending himself, both physically and intellectually, against all comers. Wooten kept his foot on the gas throughout this wild tale!
The Darkling.
Because I’m a huge science fiction fan, this was my favorite among the great stories presented here. On a planet that has a host of night-loving monsters, and only one hour of light per day, Jessica Lopez finds that she is the only human born into this fantastical world. Everyone possesses superhuman abilities, and she has become target number one just for being different. The concept is fresh and exciting!
The Bruiser.
Aristotle O’Neal, a computer draftsman-turned vigilante, is on a singular mission to rid the world of those who would harm the defenseless. He’s not a killer, but he will make them wish they were dead by the time he’s done with them. With help from his friend, Nicole, the bullies don’t stand a chance of escaping The Bruiser’s homemade justice!
Asylum.
Brooke Huddleston is starting a new job: Though a nurse who has spent her career working in prisons and mental health facilities, she is wholly unprepared for what awaits her at the asylum. A tense look into what could happen should the patients take over while the authorities look the other way. Brooke certainly has her work cut out for her!
The pages of this collection are graced with beautiful original drawings. In addition, we are allowed a more in-depth look at the author — his thoughts on life and some fascinating excerpts from his work history. Wooten has put together an electrifying collection of stories bookended by his gorgeous artwork. Don’t miss this fab read!
