Day 22, 4/14, 12:04 - 12:11

Awesome day. 

First off, 70 and sunny. Absolutely beautiful. I ended up having to work late in the night, because what else could I do during daylight hours but wander around soaking up the sunshine? 

One other thing, I suppose - eat cookie dough and chocolate chip almond coconut ice cream in the square.

I spoke with my boss, and it was a great conversation. I was able to say what I wanted to say without letting Skype video make me edgy or sputtery. 

I feel like confidence is largely about two things: the stories we tell ourselves in our heads, and believing them. 

My sense of myself is so much about how I frame it, but I also have to trust that framing. Sure, other people may have a million different opinions and perceptions, but it’s up to me to understand their perspectives while keeping my own Sense of Self intact.

I am the author of my story. I am the one holding the pen.
