I am still so mad that Quaritch told the RDA about Spider and kidnapped him so that they could study him. Dude like wtf, I thought you wanted to protect your kid. But nope, gotta advance his own position first. Also, Ardmore considers Project Phoenix a failure, so guess that means no more recoms in the future.

For a fanfic i was thinking of writing

Title: The Weight of How

Set during the early events of Avatar (before the destruction of the Hometree), this story follows Parker Selfridge, the RDA administrator, through a profound and unexpected transformation, both physical and moral. After being kidnapped by a grieving Na'vi woman and connected to a Tree of Souls, Parker is judged by Eywa herself. Instead of dying, his body begins to change: he grows a braid and a tail, and eventually gains the ability to breathe Pandora's air. Confused, terrified, and stripped of his former sense of control, Parker is forced to confront Pandora not as a resource, but as a living world. As scientists struggle to understand what is happening to him, Parker becomes increasingly isolated from the human side of Hell's Gate and increasingly drawn to the Na'vi. So for some reason I started loving Parker Selfridge a LOT as a character because thanks to the deleted scenes he has way more depth than you’d think and that just appeals to me Y’know? He’s just a funny little angry brat of a guy and I love studying those.

When grace is lecturing selfridge and quaritch about how many synapses are in the trees i love how jake is always nodding in confirmation when she looks over to him like "yes, grace, that's right. It is more than the human brain, very smart, you tell them." I absolutely love their dynamic. Love it and it always has me in a puddle on the floor.

I really hope kiri is able to recover graces memories in some way and jake gets to have grace back </3
