WEEK 1
June 30, the beginning : I woke up at 5am (thanks, timezones) and got ready for my first day at SELSA. When I arrived at school, I was impressed to see so many students. I met some people who I already talked with on Facebook, which was nice. Everyone was so friendly!
After we did our test, we got time to meet the other students from our school. During the afternoon, we played a few games so we could learn each other names. It was cool!
The first day of school went by so fast!
July 1, Happy Canada Day! : Second day of school. We met our teachers and had our first class as SELSA students.
We spend the afternoon doing some ''team building'' activities and it was fun. Chinook people are awesome x1000, really.
Then I headed home and after dinner, my family took us to the beach so we could see the fireworks. It was the first time that I got to touch the ocean and I was so impressed! The view was one of the prettiest I had ever seen. I absolutely liked Canada Day!

July 2, exploring the city : That day, my school (aka the coolest SELSA's school, aka Chinook, for those who didn't know yet)went downtown. We walked by the Legislative Building, ate frozen yogourt at Qoola(yummy!), etc. I really enjoyed this city tour!
Legislative Building, BC.
July 3, dying legs : H I K I N G. It seems really fun at first, but when your legs are as not musculated as mine, the fun quickly goes away. Despite the fact that I couldn't feel my legs after walking up and down the mountain for what felt like forever, the view we got to see once we reached the top was breathetaking. It was really worth it! P.S.: I have absolutely no idea how and why, but my legs weren't sore at all the next morning. Um. Weird.
July 4 : Already one school week done. Woah, it went by so fast! We didn't had any activity during the afternoon, so I went shopping with my twin and my host sister. I also skyped with my super lovely friends (hey girls!!!(I know you're reading this)) who I miss a lot. Then, 2 of my Chinook friends came over with their host mom for dinner. We had a very great and fun night!
July 5 & 6, weekend!!! : During the weekend, my host family and I went for a walk in the trail by the Royal University and we also went to the Hartley Castle. Such a pretty view, I REALLY liked it! And I saw a peacock for the first time in my life! Then, I went to the movie theater. Later, we went to a market (I think it was downtown). It was a nice weekend :)
