I... I am working on that... I....... I just die every other sentence....
But really, this post is to let you know that it WILL be treated as a stand alone sort of mini series/ story/ sandboxy thing. So I want to kind of settle it all down first, how am i going to approach it (in terms of writting (y/n) or you) and prep it’s own tag and its own tab on my page and in the masterlist. But this is our baby k? Just letting ya know if you don’t see it straight away. Might have the first drabble or short blurb tomorrow.
I really want to read something someone posted just now but chrome is like nope, you’re not gonna read tonight. Wrote this yesterday and chrome didn’t let me post it so. If you want to read about my day, go ahead and click this.
Going to sign off now. Wasn’t on today cause we finally turned in our 20page script and at the beginning of the critique session, everybody was kinda lost, and then they all started debating cause we left an open ending and they were making their own assumptions and at the end, even if they were a little confused they legit screamed “MAKE THIS SCRIPT A REAL THING” at us so I was really proud.
Plus the teacher gave us some reaaaallly good reviews on it, and also a couple of things to fix or have in mind, but he asked us to stay back after class and we talked for a good 20 minutes with him and he kept giving us praise and also tips and things that he didn’t like or that didn’t work but, he could have said I looked and smelled like shit, I wouldn’t mind cause the positive things he said about the work made us so incredibly proud, because he’s the teacher, he’s been doing this for years so if he doesn’t understand then you did awfully, but he was literally one of the only people who either got the whole thing or whose assumption came the closest to what we wanted to portray.
He praised our character development and our attention to detail in a way that wasn’t overbearing, and told us “even though the past or introduction takes up 3/4 of the 20 pages, and your conclusion is super fast paced, it never feels tiring, it feels thick but it works, and it’s interesting and sort of episodical, where one thing makes you add on to the final plot and is important, or at least feels important, so we feel like it’s not long, we feel like it’s just enough”
He specially loved how we introduced the drama factor of the script and literally today has been a great day. It’s 1am and I got home around 10;30pm, have been working on another class’ homework and progressing a request, and now imma go to sleep. But just wanted to vent cause today was so good, I’m so happy, I love the work we did today and I love that class so much and I guess this only serves to show me even more that: I really want to study cinematography, and I should.
It might sound like nothing, but to those who know me, know how important and heavy it is for me to make this decision, or any. They know about my rough starts with deciding a major and the struggles of what it is living with a family like mine and, ugh, the scholar system here is shit, but I’m moving. I think I just wanted to say that. I’m moving...
