day 3: what’s in your bag?
so, I’m not sure if this is talking about what’s in my school bag or my purse, so I’m going to talk about those things that are in both, and that I usually take with me to school.
things I always have (or try to have with me) in my bag at all times:
deodorant: always a good thing to have with you imo. I have sensitive skin and I can’t use deodorant that has aluminum in it, so I use an all natural deodorant that doesn’t have a lot of staying power. I feel like I’m an extra sweaty person, and I sweat off all my deodorant during the day and need to reapply. lol.
chapstick: I get chapped lips a lot, and if I don’t have it I regret it.
tylenol: headaches, cramps, whatever. it’s a useful thing to have.
your menstrual product of choice: sometimes, there are surprises. blood surprises are not the best kind of surprises. you can also give some to a friend in need if your product isn’t a menstrual cup or something like that.
a CPR mask with a one way valve: I never want to do CPR on someone without a mask. it’s pretty gross, and I don’t want to put my health and safety at risk like that. if you have CPR training, I recommend carrying some kind of barrier mask with a one way valve in case you are ever in the situation where you need to perform CPR.
phone charger: I have a battery pack that my dad got me for Christmas a few years ago, and it’s amazing. a good quality battery pack is an amazing investment in my opinion. it is so helpful, I can get up to four charges out of mine.
headphones: I take the bus a lot, and I love to listen to music or podcasts while I’m on the bus and between classes. I always miss my headphones if I don’t have them with me.
a book: I’ve recently gotten back into reading, and I love to have a book with me for on the bus or when I have a break between classes where I don’t need to get anything in particular done.
that’s everything I can think of right now. I hope this gives someone some ideas!
