A man a man, a wolf a wolf || Cora & Matt

Matt wasn't sure what @thexstubbornxhale had meant exactly with the bayou being dangerous. Yeah, he kinda knew that the werewolves lived there and such, but he actually thought that the whole point of their kinda fight was that the werewolves weren't dangerous, or at least, not more dangerous than humans. Or something like that. He wasn't really sure anymore. He just knew that he wanted to prove Cora that he wasn't gonna ignore and leave her. He for sure was gonna prove that he didn't want things to change because she was a werewolf. Although, it was kinda hard. All his friends had kept secrets. There was this whole hidden world and it seemed like he was the last one to find out about it. But that didn't change the fact that Cora lost her brother. Again. And he kinda knew how that felt and like she had been there for him while he was dealing with the Vicki stuff, he now wanted to be there for her. 

He parked the car as near as he dared and then he made his way through the bayou until he stood in front of her place. Reluctantly he knocked on the door and quickly he hid his hands in the pockets of his jeans.

Nicholas took a deep breath while he stepped out of the Taxi that had driven him to Willow's home. Last time he had been here he had been soaked from head to toe, this time he was here to discover if maybe he had some hidden talent, and liking, for cooking. He was not sure what he was more nervous about, the fact that he would probably have to ask the most simple questions concerning the instructions in those cook books, or that fact that maybe his family would discover why he had rescheduled his job so he could take some time off on Tuesday night. His finger however was trembling a little while he pressed the doorbell and he shifted his weight from one leg to the other while seconds passed until Willow opened the door for him.

Captured - Zach & Theo - Flashforward

Damn it. 

The ropes that were holding him were tight and stung... probably treated with vervain some way. When he opened his eyes, he could see he was in some kind of cellar. A few windows high on the walls let through the only light that came in. It was empty, except for the chair he was bound to and a few small cupboards in the other corner. Nothing that could help him get out of his bonds, at least. He got a flashback to all those years ago, when Rose got him in a similar position. Since then he had been good in staying under the radar, picking up his job again. No one suspected a vampire to work in the hospital. 

Until someone apparently found out, knocked him out and held him here. When the door behind him opened, he felt fear creeping in, something he knew he shouldn’t show.

“What the hell do you want from me?”

Jenna tucked a strand of hair behind her ear while she rang the bell. She had not been here that often before, as she had promised, but she somehow couldn't stay away right now. She just had to tell Elena that she had seen Klaus, that she had her kind regards and that Klaus had been such a gentleman and that they were invited for dinner. Jenna curled her lips up into a smile. She somehow hoped that maybe Jeremy would look up to Klaus and his wealth and life. Maybe it would help him to somehow better his life.

Spring is starting, which means beautiful flowers for a beautiful girl. If you want to know more about my plans, why don’t you find the next clue in the coffee bar? Tell the barista your name and he’ll know what to do.

Lana stood up from her seat when she heard the doorbell. It was too early for one of her parents to come home, but she was not expecting anyone else either. "Hey!" She opened the door with a smile thought and her smile brightened even more when she noticed the florist with a colorful bouquet of flowers in his hands. 

"I'm looking for miss Lana Parker?" The young man looked up and Lana already stretched out her hands. "They're for me? They're not for my mom or dad?" She took the flowers from his hands and read the small card. It wasn't that hard to guess who had sent her these flowers, but that didn't make her less excited about them. "Thank you so much for bringing them!" 

She quickly disappeared into the house again and after she had made sure that the flowers wouldn't die while she was gone she checked her reflection in the mirror once more before she grabbed her jacket and headed towards the coffee bar. 

"Good afternoon!" Lana smiled when she threw the door of the coffee bar open. "I was told to simply go here and tell you that I'm Lana Parker." She could feel the excitement racing through her veins and her fingers tapped nervously on the counter.

Gabriel rolled his eyes while he waited for Ray in a bar in the centre of Arcadia. He was very well ware that he was not exactly Ray's favorite person in the world to talk too and therefore he wondered why Ray had even texted him that they needed to talk. Unless he was unsatisfied with something of course. Gabriel took a deep breath and just in case he already ordered a cognac. One could never be too prepared.

Talia had paint all over her. Her hair was blue. Her face was yellow. Her shirt was green. The canvas was covered in nothing but black, white and red. No color had felt right. Theo had been the color in her work. Theo was gone. She had not seen him ever since he had disappeared without saying a word. She was back to painting the monsters under her bed.

Through better and worse || Matt & Malia

Matt tapped his steering wheel. He stared at the red light above the road that refused to turn green. He didn't know why he was this impatient actually. It wasn't like Malia knew he was coming and it wasn't like there would be any harm done if he'd arrive a few minutes later. But somehow, somehow he had a bad feeling in his stomach about all of this.

Yeah, he had promised Malia to give her room and space, to take things slowly. He was already glad that she wasn't running away screaming and she kinda wanted to try this whole relationship thing, even though she wanted to make sure they wouldn't go too fast. But the last couple of weeks he had called several times and left a few messages and she hadn't answered. He wasn't sure if that was normal for Malia, but he was her boyfriend now, right? It was kinda weird to not hear anything from your girlfriend for weeks! 

When the light turned green he sped up and took the turn into the woods. He drove as far as he could and parked the car. A shiver rolled down his spine when he stepped out and he buried his hands in the pockets of his jacket. The woods never felt fully safe anymore, even though the city wasn't really safe either. 

He swallowed when he eventually stopped in front of her house. He didn't wanna be pushy. And he didn't wanna lose her. He was just worried. There was nothing wrong with being worried, right? He took another deep breath and then he knocked on the door. "Malia? Are you home?"
