The Seed is a worker owned collective/vegetarian/vegan cafe and community space located in downtown Lancaster.

They're always looking for artists, speakers, and performers who are entertaining, educational, and radically inclined.

The cafe itself doesn't serve alcohol but whether or not alcohol is byob at shows is generally up to promoters. You can probably work something out for whatever is necessary.

Shows usually start around 8:00 or 9:00 and (usually?) are free.

Gilman has been a volunteer run, non profit music and arts community space for over 30 years.

There is a strict no drugs or alcohol policy, but you don't have to be sober to attend. However, you will be asked to leave if you are causing a problem and/or belligerent.

If you're quiet acoustic this probably isn't a good space for you.

The Vera Project

The Vera Project is venue and art gallery is located on the corner of Warren & Republican Ave N, next to the Key Arena in Seattle Center, tucked back under the awning.

It is youth focused (targeting 14-24 year olds, but anyone is welcome) and offers silkscreen, audio, music journalism (plus more!) classes (unfortunately the classes are not free).

It is drug and alcohol free, but you don't have to be sober to attend.

The space is wheel chair accessible from all entrances and the building has an elevator.

The Trunk Space

Drugs and alcohol are strictly prohibited, but it is next door to a bar.

I don't know if it's wheel chair accessible or not.

119 Gallery

119 Gallery is a community arts space located about 30 minutes north of Boston (or 45 minutes by public transit).

While 119 Gallery does not serve alcohol, events vary with whether alcohol is byob or not. They frequently have dry and sober events, but make sure to request that when booking. People can do whatever they want with the space while they're having an event.

The Mr Roboto Project

The Roboto is a cooperatively-run show space and art gallery.  Its aim is to create a comfortable and open space for people to experience a true DIY community.

There is no alcohol sold at the venue but it is on the same block as a bar.

There are two steps from the street into the front door and two steps from the gallery into the show space. The back door has a ramp but the door is not in service until further notice except for those with mobility accessibility needs.
