I feel like Viktor would be a little bit chubby as a kid (before he gets sick) and then he loses it all but when he goes with Jayce and his momma, he gets all soft

Viktor was a pudgy baby, till he was about four, that’s when he started to get sick. After that he was just… thin. Skinny. Then he never had enough food to gain enough weight to fight for his health. By the time he was an adult with the access to food, he’d gotten too used to not eating to even try.

But then came Jayce. Jayce who always had snacks, who was always offering Viktor a share of his lunch, who was bringing Viktor breakfast bagels when he stopped by a cafe on his way to the lab, who was always inviting Viktor out to dinner to get some fresh air.

Viktor didn’t notice at first. He just assumed his back brace was shrinking or that he needed to do some adjustments. Then Jayce started inviting Viktor to his mamas house. That’s when Viktor really noticed.

He ate a lot when at house Talis. For one, Ximena Talis cooked food that someone never upset Viktors stomach, always tastes perfect. Secondly, Ximena also made sure to pack them with all the leftovers. And thirdly, Viktor always ended up having dessert. Weather it be because it smelled too good to leave or because he’d stayed so many hours he was ready for a sweet treat.

That’s when Viktor realized his thighs were softer, his stomach was heavier, his arms fit more snug in his shirt sleeves. He stepped on his scale at home needing to make sure he wasn’t going crazy and he had gained quite a bit of weight.
