Injury Update/ Weekly Update
Ok I am going to jump right in with the weight update before I go off on a ramble. But I need to catch you up on last week first. So change last week: +0.8 Last week's weight: 232.1 Change this week: -0.9 Current weight: 231.2 So after all the crazy of the last two weeks I managed to lose a total of 0.1 lbs, but you know what that's ok, in fact it's great considering how crappy my knee has felt... And speaking of my knee that leads me to my current situation- lying on my bed with my knee elevated on two pillows and an ice pack as per the orthopedist's instructions. I have now received a diagnosis of an overuse injury of the right knee. Instructions from the doc are to eliminate all activity save the necessary walking or standing- no excessive walking, standing, or activity- along with an hour daily of elevation on two pillows (yes he actually specified 2) and 20 minutes of icing. Y'all I am not a sit still person. This is Day two and I am doing my best to behave, but I just want to move! Gah! I go back on June 6th for a follow up and if it is not better by then they will have to take fluid from my knee to get a new/corrected diagnosis.
