Pray someday you’ll see my nations’ tears as unhealing scars

Lips stained with injury- pleading no more for mercy,    

Eyes wishing life had given them something more to tell -

Caged beasts behind invisible bars.

If your heart had a conversation with their pain

Would your apathy remain the same?

It's humane not insane to create some healing- 

Embrace them to stop the bleeding.

They are solitude by the sea & high hurt on hill sides  

watching Humans:

chase their pretty kids off Natures ledge;

wastelands and graveyards where Home used to be.
