“I’ll remember you, Cindy. You don’t have to worry about that.”  Cindy smiles at Seol Hee’s words. I’ll remember you. She’ll remember Seol Hee long after this summer, as well.

The words echo in Cindy’s mind as the events of that day run through her mind lightning fast, complete with the brilliant colors of the sunset as she stands rooted to the concrete on that street corner. She’s staring at a woman surrounded by stone-faced security guards in black suits, emerging from a car. The international K-Pop star, Luna Snow.

Luna steps onto the concrete and tosses her hair while the concierge rattles on and on, an almost… familiar look of polite boredom on her face. Something pertaining to the building, no doubt. But Cindy is caught off guard. She breathes in sharply as the realization hits her. The white hair is new, as well as the choppy and uneven style. But other than that, Cindy would know her anywhere. She knew her for one summer, and has seen her in her dreams ever since then. It's almost like she can read Cindy's thoughts because the woman turns, and suddenly Cindy can’t breathe. It’s her greatest dream and her worst nightmare all at once.

OMG OMG OKAY.

Funnily enough it reminds me of that coming of age seolcindy fic we talked about a while back??? The thing that’s crazy is the fact that I thought as soon as I saw these pictures in one place and I didn’t even know that your ask was the next up on my list to answer lol.

Based off of cornelia street AND august. Summer after high school, but before they both go off into the world and do their own thing. A summer romance, if you will. Short and sweet, but they both still miss it and each other by time they go their separate ways. (I don’t want to lose you) 

Moving on to august, them knowing that it was temporary and resolving to enjoy each other’s company while it lasted. Maybe a fic from a future pov of either one of them! Revisiting their “cornelia street” perhaps?? Meeting one another years/decades later and seeing flashes of memories of each other and that summer and being hit with all the feelings of their youth????? (back when we were still changing for the better, wanting was enough, for me it was enough) Of course they get together at some point toward the end because I cannot physically write pining with no happy ending. Nothing but happy endings in MY house! I’m going feral over this idea actually
