something i’ve noticed—seon-nyeo always takes the high ground in the bunk room. she’s almost always sitting high above, eyeing the players like a hawk. and her remarks match this too, scolding the other players who choose X for trying to change the fates they were granted.

this could symbolism how she sees herself as connected to the gods, knowing all. being higher up. more superior. also, gods are said to watch from above. she sees herself as the gods eyes.

she’s also building a cult. cults rely on a certain figure to worship. her followers trail her around, bowing to her and following her every move.

in reality, she is on the ground, struggling like the rest of the players, using her “godly” knowledge as fear mongering. she’s no better than the other victims. she may use this, and use her insight to her advantage.

also, could this be symbolism to her downfall? falling from a height? being knocked off her high horse at the same time?

ahhhh, i love it when two of my favorite characters balance both a superiority and inferiority complex at the same time.

YESSSSSS 😈 i drew some fanart of them a while ago but i didn't rlly like how it turned out i need to try again sometime........ idk what direction their relationship will go in in canon but i feel like they could have a rlly interesting dynamic based on what we've seen in s2 👀 ! seonnyeo is so devious and unhinged and a very confident and assertive person, whereas mihwa seems like a very anxious and sorta pathetic person who's clinging onto seonnyeo just to have the security of someone telling her what to do and what to believe, and making her feel like she has a real chance of surviving the games........ their relationship would definitely not be healthy but it would sure be interesting lollll

i fear people forget she’s likely going to be an important part of the plot, overlooking her words because “she’s annoying” or “she indirectly killed young-mi” guys. guys. GUYS. are we really overlooking the fact that she KNEW SOMETHING ABOUT GI-HUN WAS DIFFERENT RIGHT OFF THE BAT. OR THAT SHE PREDICTED YOUNG-MI’S DEATH.

guys. GUYS. DO WE NOT REALIZE HOW CONCERNING THIS IS. (in a good way) either she’s insane at reading people or GENUINELY has shit planned for her future.

she’s building an entire cult that will very clearly cause a roadblock in some way, she has beef with the secondary characters, and not to mention she could have foreshadowed things that we don’t know of yet. guys.

also she’s just?? really cool?? she might be batshit crazy and freaky but so is in-ho and y’all adore him. seriously why are we sleeping on seon-nyeo.
