Happy Hobbit Day!
Hobbit Day is commemorated on Sept 22, the birthday of hobbits Frodo and Bilbo Baggins, the heroes of JRR Tolkien's books, Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, respectively. Hobbits are celebrated on this day for their immeasurable courage and the great feats that they achieve.
On this day we also celebrate the relationship between Bilbo Baggins and Thorin Oakenshield, the heart and soul, respectively, of The Hobbit trilogy.
