Live each day like it’s Sept 12- that’s the lesson I was taught yesterday as I am beloved by the power of two.
Many of you “know” my story- that I have some vague connection to 9/11 and I am probably one of those patriotic Ex-pats you will meet. We are one people, under G-d. Nothing mattered on 9/11 except people
This is my truth
I spoke to my friend in the morning she was bubbling with excitement that she got chosen to do a presentation in the WTC. She called me again from the base of towers before she made it to her fate on the 106th floor of the North Tower. I was at work standing in my patients room thinking this is a joke- then I saw the reports - plane hit the north tower- I sank to me knees and cried out my friends name- my manager let me go and I made my to nyc- for 2 weeks I searched-every hospital every church showing random people her picture in the streets all to no avail.
