SKELETON CREW — 1.03 Very Interesting, As an Astrogation Problem
In the mood for a Reyrose headcanon?
Rey and Rose take a vacation to a beach planet, both of them presenting themselves to one another in skimpy bikinis, Rey in a white one, Rose in black. They go for a swim, enjoying one another’s company immensely. Before they can kiss, a gang of space pirates ambushes the two. With neither able to change out of their bikinis, Rey fights back with her lightsabre, Rose with a blaster pistol. It all ends badly for them when the pirates stun-blast first Rey, then Rose.
Next thing, Rey and Rose regain consciousness finding themselves together locked in the brig of the pirates’ ship, both of them still in their bikinis and with their hands chained behind their backs.
What do you think the two girls will be saying to one another in the situation they in?
an engineer and a scrapper will be out of there in no time, even if they have to be ...creative about it. the REAL question is who gets the credit after they get out... and what her reward will be
As You Were
The sequels had - um - problems. But one of the things I really loved was seeing the people we'd first known as sexy young heroes turning into grizzled, careworn old warhorses still trying to fight the good fight. So I wanted to get some kleyshi in that.
For the theme: "somebody's got to tell people"
As You Were
Kleya had been sitting too long, and when she got up at the end of the meeting, her hip twinged unmercifully.
Leia noticed her wince. "You all right?"
"Oh, fine," Kleya sighed, steadying herself on the table and swinging her leg a couple of times to loosen the joint. "Just an old injury, letting me know it's there. You know, I take the meds and I do the exercises, but there's only so much doctors can do about time."
"Tell me about it," Leia said, swirling the tea in her mug. "It's my gut for me. You know, back in the Rebellion days, I always thought Mon had so many ulcers from stress, but now I think it's the caf we all guzzled."
Kleya covered her eyes. "Don't talk to me about the caf."
They laughed wearily.
"Don't mind us," Leia said to the ridiculously attractive young man who had come in during their conversation and was waiting respectfully inside the door. "Just two old ladies grousing about their aches and pains."
Poe Dameron shot them a dazzling smile. "I don't see any old ladies," he said. "Just two beautiful and capable women, taking a well-deserved break."

Y'know, I used to think the one year gap between TLJ and ROS was too short for stories and actually having a war
But then I remembered Mobile Suit Gundam
The core of that franchise is a conflict that is EXACTLY 365 days, and they have come up with dozens of stories about that war (impressive considering one side of the war doesn't mass produce their own titular mobile suits until nearly the war's end)
The One Year War and how the Gundam franchise approaches it provides the perfect template for how the Forst Order-Resistance War should be handled
See nearly every Gundam entry set in the OYW basically is a whole new cast of characters (barring some minor not entirely plot relevant cameos) in a different theater of the war
That's what SW should do with the First Order-Resistance War, smaller scale stories with predominantly new casts, tell the story of the war through numerous individual fronts battles and planets
This can also help with the bigger picture story too, why does the first order ally with the sith eternal? They're stretched thin across hundreds of worlds and battles
You can also depict the emergence of new Force-users/future Jedi this way as people among those fighting against the First Order (kinda like the emergence of newtypes in the oyw), they're not Jedi or particularly strong right now, but they can grow, and if they survive become the foundation for the Jedi Order's restoration
