star wars sequels where instead of darth sidious “somehow returning” instead the amount of hatred and evil and shit he poured into his kyber crystal when he bled it has rendered it essentially indestructible and it is basically like possessed and corrupts anybody who holds enough rage and hatred in them to get influenced. and the movies revolve around the new republic’s struggle with the rise of what is essentially a super successful neo nazi group (the first order) and luke skywalker’s latest pupil (rey) meeting a force-sensitive former stormtrooper (finn) and then finn learns the ways of the jedi and confronts the horrible things he did during his time with the first order. blaming himself for not just like killing his whole squad and himself on the spot instead of letting so many massacres happen. while rey struggles deeply with the darkness inside of her and eventually in like the second or third movie is influenced by sidious’s kyber crystal to fully go like Cuckoo. and eventually at the end Rey confronts whatever’s going on with herself head-on and redeems herself. Dead or alive i dont care. Kylo Ren would still exist but his whole turning would be different obviously since Luke isn’t a grumpy old man and wouldn’t try to kill a child because he smelled weird or whatever
