Seraphine first thoughts

Disappointing but still potential. 

First off we get that her kit is very similar to sona, It’s not that dissapointing though a lot of champions have similarities. Morg, lux, neeko and arhi all follow a similar mechanic strucuter with land their snare and follow with the rest of their combo. Boosted aa’s and damage spell, and defensive spell. Yet each is unique in their own way. Seraphine having a lot of similarities to other champs means that it’s easier for people to connect with her as a main, disappointing but not the worst it could be; I’m excited to play her both mid and support. 

Her character design is what kills her more than her abilities. Her base form looks very much like the first form of her ultimate. It’s kind of just lacklustre that she doesn’t look much into the world she is support to be in. She looks like she came out of barbie princess charm school. She’s cute but not piltoven. Her concept arts had some very good aesthetics for hextech, and i had hoped she would’ve taken more inspiration from the land resembling cards such as Chempunk Shreader and Academy prodigy. Her KDA design and real life persona seems more thought out than her in lore design.

Her lore i really like however. She brings life to the bracken again from Skarners lore with hearing the hextech crystals and her ambitious of bonding the two cities. I’d like to compare it to Ekko, Both have parents willing to do anything to provide for them. Both wish to strive for a better place to live. However Ekko is bitter and seems more set on action while Seraphine is hopeful and seems to have her head more in the clouds. I hope her voice lines bring more life to her because her lore could’ve been so nice if her design was more leaning into it.

 As above compare the aesthetics of the cards to seraphine. I get the crystals cause skarner but it’s very targon/star guardian-esue even demacia. Also i dont understand the fairy wings. She has crystals on her legs maybe she is fucking half brackon and they aint telling us, but sis.
