Le Petit Journal OTD Nov 21 1915 publishes this photo of Serbian soldiers in a trench on the Mačkov Kamen mountain in Serbia, near the its modern Western border with Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Memorial Ossuary, Mačkov kamen was built on the Jagodnja mountain at an elevation of 923 m. It contains the unidentified bones of Serbian war dead. Construction started in 1925 and in August of 1931 the bones were transfered to their resting place.
