1) Animated character that was your gay awakening? There are several stages to this question I think.

The first is when I was a bub (like 6 or 7) and I just thought Pocohontas was the most beautiful person I had EVER seen.

Then there was Jane from Daria when I was a tween who I just thought... was the coolest person on the planet... and then years later I realised that I probably wanted to make out with her in a hot second.

And then there is like, my late 20′s... which is when I realised hey, this is not a phase, im not just heteroflexible... I might just be bi. And that would probably be a combination of Marceline and Princess Bubblegum.

3) What show/YouTube video(s) do you put on in the background when you when you don’t have anything to watch but you want something on? 

The Amazing World of Gumball. I’ve watched all the episodes so many times but for some reason I never get sick of it. If I need to kill time or have background noise or just need to smile I always look at clips online. Here’s one of my faves.

4) Your go-to bar order, if you drink? Probably wine. But I do love a good whiskey sour or whiskey and gingerale. ლ(´ڡ`ლ)

6. Describe your dream home?

Future me. A cottage in the countryside with a garden and some chickens. Somewhere not too far from a major city/township though.

Me right now. My own apartment. Big kitchen with lots of benchspace. A living area that has room for a small dining table. A balcony so my cat could go lie in the sun if she wanted to. Lots of natural light. Enough space for me to be a bit of a clutterbitch without dripping over into TOO MESSY territory. Cozy. Warm.

19. If you could change your name, would you? What would you change it to?

Yes. I find my name a bit uninteresting. I used to think if I ever got famous I would go by a stage name of “Lotti” so I guess if I could, I would change my name to that.

21. Describe your best friend

Her name is I**y. We went to highschool together but weren’t really close then. She’s Filipino-Aussie so she’s of the asian persuasion. Petite with stick straight black hair. I am really jealous of how fast her hair grows. We bond over movies, food, nerd stuff, chilling, not taking things too seriously, having fun and living life. She’s friendlier than I am. I admire how she will make conversation with strangers where as I am too shy. She would tell you that I am more confident than her. Which is interesting. A couple of years ago she was diagnosed with psychosis aka schizophrenia. Wasnt much of an adjustment for me or us once she was on good medication. Sometimes I think she agrees too easily with me or others and if I had a wish for her, it would be that she assert her own opinion or ideas or disagreements more. But I love her a lot. :)

35. Do you have a crush on anyone? 

Nah son.

Hmm, Scorpio? Passionate, secretive, intuitive, apparently pretty into sex, ambitious? (I know this only because I’m technically a Scorpio and those are some supposed characteristics I guess)

Oh my gawd Gwen you’re such a Theo! Ha ha.

But seriously that ones pretty good too. Theo wants what he wants.

I especially like the “secretive” descriptor. Though it also makes me kinda sad because Theo would have been a lot less secretive if he’d had better experiences earlier in life.

no worries, I’ve thought about selling original paintings before and I might start putting them up on my online shop but I’m currently not selling them, however I can add it as a print on my redbubble if you’re interested!

Per ask meme - choose: if you could snap your fingers and make one OTP explicitly canon (even by rewriting history, if the story is already finished), which one would it be?

Ooooooo. Ooo oo ooooooooooo. Gwen you be coming in with the hard questions.

Firstly I want to quickly touch on the couples that I considered but passed on.

Byeler - I don’t mind if this couple doesn’t become explicitly canon in the timeline of the show because I don’t honestly think it could occur organically in a way that I would enjoy. Both of these boys would have to have their sexuality awakening, their sexuality crisis, their crushes on each other and THEN their getting together all within 1 or 2 seasons. And I don’t like my relationship growth done like that. Too hasty for me. So I am happy if they don’t go canon in the show timeline, but I would LOVE for the show to leave it open-ended for them to possibly be together in the future. :D

Cherik - these two old men are practically canon in the source material anyway. I’m happy to leave them be. I don’t need it confirmed. 

Poly Losers - i would LOVE to rewrite the end of that book to make the poly losers more explicit (even if they dont get fully together) buuuuuut…. Stanley and Eddie would still be dead so thats a big ol NO.

And so my choice for couple that I want to make explicity canon is…. *drum roll*

Toph and Sokka. My lovely bros that turn into much more. I love this couple because they have so much history together and affection for each other. It would be a slow build. We already know they remain close into adulthood. And we even have an unconfirmed theory that Sokka sired one of Toph’s children.

But I want it to be explicit please. Give me a comic all about their luuuuuurrrrve and their courtship. About Toph’s commitment issues and Sokka helping with baby Lin. And why they kept their relationship a secret. And how it was affected by Sokka dying. And why Toph decided to never be open about it even after his death. 

I want it. I need it. Pretty please?
