A Modest Proposal

To the workers who aren’t getting their money’s worth in pay. If your business is not paying you enough for your service then fine go to work. Make them hurt with the money. Work like you work any other day, be helpful to the costumers and help them. But be extra special with them let the costumers take what they want.

If they want bread, let them have it.

If they want water, fine.

But do not charge them a dime.

If your service is not worth paid sick leave or employee benefits in this time of crisis then that business does not deserve to be functioning. Let them loose so much money that they start to treat you with some decency. If they get a bailout they are not going to treat you any better.

You might lose your job especially if it’s in a big chain. Might as well make sure they suffer for messing with you.

It's a beautiful dream.

To be able to feel, imagine and want everything to be yours forever. To experience every happy moment and live a life that many want to live. You may want your soul to be at peace just for a minute. You may want everything to stop for a moment so that you can cherish everything you've achieved and appreciate how far you've come in this life of chaos.

It may be a dream of yours to understand the meaning of life and think beyond it in order to get closer to yourself. You may want to be happier and love yourself more. You may want to forgo all the sadness and feelings that you've kept inside all this time.

But if this dream comes true, would you ever want to get out of it? Wouldn't you feel bad about living such a simple and sorted life?

There is so much that a person feels but can't express.

There is so much that a person wants to say but never says.

There is so much that a person experienced but never shares.

And above all, there is so much a person has inside but never lets it out.

I've always felt the need to be counseled, to be guided by people, to be told what to do and whatnot to do in my life to grow as a person.

But at the end of the day I wonder: is it even necessary?

Is it necessary for someone to tell you what to do?

What is the point of living when you can't give yourself some time to grow and improve with time?

But just being there for yourself is necessary.

It's not necessary to express or speak or share the details of your life with people.

Improving and growing day by day is necessary.

Working hard on yourself is necessary.

Loving yourself is necessary. 🌹
