I would just like to remind people that doubting your practice is not bad and anyone who tells you that it is is potentially dangerous.

If you are doubting your path, take a step back and take a good look at it. Is it healthy? Does it make you happy and fulfilled? Are you safe? Do you feel like it is the right path for you?

Discernment is a very important process, never feel guilt for second-guessing, there is almost always a reason when you start second-guessing.

Hi everyone! I wanted to make a new list of resources for you all, including books and some useful blogs to follow.

It's very important to get information from places other than Tumblr, so I thought I'd link you all some good places! Please DM me if you want me to add something!

In Satan's Honour - This website is pretty regularly updated and even has a patreon! There are a lot of thought provoking articles and great resources on there.

Spiritual Satanist - The website and blog is a great resource and the author is vocally anti nazi. She made a blog post about how nazis don't belong in the community a few years back. (Blog here)

Theistic Satanism - An older site, but plenty of worthwhile stuff on there. Several other sites are also maintained via this site!

Black Goat Cabal - Now shut down but the websites maintained by the above site. Lots of essays, rituals and advice.

Your Friendly Neighbourhood Devil Worshipper - Maintained by the same person who maintains the BGC and theistic satanism website. LOTS of great advice, sermons and even has a section for new theistic satanists.

Satan's Den - A lot of information on satanic magic & Satanism in general! There's also a blog attached to the website, so even more content.

Aleister Nacht - A lot of videos and information on Satanism. Has a list of Satanic holidays you can follow if you wish! Also has a Patreon!

In Praise Of Satan - A website about someone's personal journey with Satan. There's an FAQ section and some other information.

Here's a list of recommended reading from @saltsulphur! Some are PDFs, some aren't. A lot of very good books though!

At Satan's Altar - a book of prayers, chants, hymns ect. I believe Marie Ravensoul also has a website that I've linked! I'd recommend buying this if you can afford it - please don't pirate it as this person is an independent author.

@saltsulphur / @bitteroccultist - Lucian is another very knowledgeable Satanist! He runs another blog, bitteroccultist, for blunt informational posts.

@satanourunholylord - A great person and a great resource for a lot of paths of Satanism & Norse Paganism! He's an agnostic Satanist and shares a lot of good information so he's definitely worth a follow!

Feeling the need to disassociate from the idea that you abuse children or animals is important, and a valid reason to kick somebody out of a group. But:

1) Baptists who do that sort of stuff are still Baptists, and

2) you don't need to appeal to the authority of the law or brag about working with cops.

This is something the Church of Satan has been doing for decades and, frankly, runs right to the core of LaVeyan ideas of power.

The Church of Satan's "policy on drug abuse" makes it clear they still don't even like cannabis, but especially if it's illegal. Their sense of proper behavior is fully beholden to what other, more powerful people say is OK to do.

Within the Christian understanding (that we're necessarily accepting for its symbolic power), Satan is only Satan because he broke God's law and fought God's cops.

Lucifer was angel, but Satan is a criminal because the law was wrong and the order worse. Hence: Be gay, do crime, and hail Satan!

"Why are Satanists so white?" gets asked by liberal white Satanists a lot, but it makes sense when you see so much historical energy put behind the bootlicking.

With a legal and law-enforcement system that's out to hurt people like you, "follow the law" is obviously bad advice, and Black Methodists are more rebellious, more active in opposing tyrannical authority.

Now as more of the law is arrayed against trans and gender-nonconforming people—including the white ones—being a Satanist who is told, "We reject authority (but do please inform on gender heretics like the statutes direct)" is not attractive to anyone except That Guy™.

Thus it is not a surprise when you run into so many Satanists who are just That Guy™.

So Ive recently felt called to Satan. Just the idea of huh I wonder what it could mean to worship an entity that everyone calls evil. Obviously the people who do dont think he's evil. But Ive been drawn to the feeling of power and certainty. A calm Strength. Idk a curiosity to Satan's whole vibe? Ive been doing some research on Theistic Satanism and prayed to Satan a couple night and had really cool dreams where I was getting into arguments or fights but I was winning and it wasnt scary like it usually is. And also dreams of me just asserting myself successfully and feeling really good about it. Yeah...Hail Satan!
