So graceful. Never really used Lapras in a base game BUT I did have a pretty cool Lapras when I was playing Pokemon Go like last year. I think the design is pretty pleasing to look at.

82~?
82. “Did they touch you or hurt you? Who was it? Are you okay?”
Antas snarled, shoving a dragon out of his way as he made his way forward, tail lashing. He hissed at others to move, shoving or yelling at any others who didn’t move fast enough or at all. He had just gotten some news that had set him off, turning him into an unimpressed and annoyed mess. He had been told that nothing like this would happen to Emier. They had promised…
Thankfully, the dragons he had to push away or yell at were few; most of them recognized the scarred Skydancer as The Champion and moved quickly out of his way. He wasn’t fond of the reputation he had, but it proved to be of use here, and he was actually glad of it. After all, he liked how it made things easier in this situation.
Wait, is that-
He skidded to a stop, nails scraping along the ground with the action, as he came upon a scene he had not expected to . A small group of dragons, around five of them, he wasn’t counting, surrounding someone, though he couldn’t see who.
He didn’t need to see the dragon to know who was surrounded. Among the mixed emotions in the place, he could feel his brother’s emotions as clear as day. Emier, he was...
Antas’s eyes narrowed.
“Get back!” he shrieked, his voice cracking with sheer anger. “Away from him! Now!” he stepped forward as he spoke, his head high, crest pinned back, tail lashing again. By now, all the other dragons had moved back and away. It was just the group encircling Emier that remained.
However, they must have recognized his voice, or perhaps it was the burning rage in his words, for not only did it get their attention, but they also all pulled back, a couple of them glancing at him nervously. Antas snarled at anyone who got close as they moved away, and he was aware he had smacked one of them with an antler, but he didn’t care. That wasn’t important. Emier was.
Speaking of Emier, there he was, on his knees, and thankfully not obviously injured. He was looking around him, but as Antas moved forward, towards him, his attention turned to him, and he gazed up at the standing dragon, watching quietly. His gaze alone told Antas that even though something had happened, it wasn’t anything too traumatizing. There was no pain in his eyes, no fear either.
Antas bent down, placing a hand on the other dragon’s shoulder, his eyes meeting Emier’s nearly pupilless eyes.
“Did they touch you or hurt you? Who was it? Are you okay?”
Emier took a deep breath, shaking his head after a moment. “I’m fine Antas. They were caught before they were able to do anything. They were just... just thieves I think. I don’t know for certain. They were dressed like thieves if nothing else.”
Antas frowned, wanting to ask more questions, but he knew he couldn’t do that now. Not in public, not with so many other dragons milling about. Getting them all to leave was an impossible task.
Either way, he wanted to take what had happened up with the ruler later. He wanted to make one thing clear to them, wanted to tell them how annoyed he was that this had happened.
“All right. Let’s get you out of here. You need to be somewhere safe and not here.”
ridgebacks~?
ah yeah. a great start :}}--definitely were aquatic/amphibious before their emergence in sornieth, but, while guardians originated from the sea of a thousand currents, ridgebacks were native to the west and south west coastal areas of the island. -- ridgebacks who are born with the breed’s signature snout tend to have poorer eye-sight than those who are born without it-- but the snout itself is very sensitive and can be used to navigate places where snouted ridgebacks can’t see, which makes snouted ridgebacks generally more suitable tunnelers.-- certain ridgebacks-- usually those of mixed heritage-- have variations to their spines, claws, and snouts (if they have them). these variations can range from slight curves (usually found in ridgebacks with pearlcatcher heritage), branching (found in those with imperial or tundra blood), serrated or undulating edges (seen in snappers and guardians), to flexibility and mobility (seen in those related to fae, coatl, or skydancers).-- ridgebacks with wildclaw heritage tend to have more impressive displays of head-spines.-- ridgebacks and guardians’ exaggerated dislike for the other breed is a common stereotype in sornieth-- one which many of these two breeds agree isn’t too far off from their own experiences. -- ridgebacks are the largest recorded dragon breed in height and weight, but are rarely as long as imperials. they are the second densest dragons (after snappers) and rarely fly because of this. even ridgebacks who do not fear or despise water have a hard time swimming because of this.-- ridgebacks, at least generally, enjoy the company of coatls-- for their generosity, similar interest in self presentation, and their-- what ridgebacks tend to consider-- odd fascination with frivolous/trivial things.
What are your clan’s more unique social rules? Are there any special customs or traditions?
11.What are your clan’s more unique social rules? / 16. Are there any special customs or traditions?
1. Steal not from the Gods what has been freely given, for mortal fingers are but threads most easily severed
2. Worship who ye will, but begrudge not your neighbors’ lord, your lords’ lord, or your childs’ lord, for there are as many gods as stars and sand, and your hourglass holds but few
3. Should the Hollow offer its blessing, refuse it no more than three times. The first will go unnoticed, the second will tarry and the third will follow, but the forth will never come
4. Blessed are omens in two’s and sixes’, Cursed are those in eights’, and any in threes’ are simply threes’ and not quite four (an auspicious number indeed)
5. Only turn left twice in the Hollow Caverns, what follows wishes to be unseen
6. Only the King may sit upon the Throne, and only the Throne will choose the King
7. Don’t eat the mirkwood shrub buds on the north side of the mountain; it will embitter the soul, sour the soup and touch the mind for no more and no less than three and a quarter days time.
8. Mirkwood shrub leaves on the other hand are the best cures for hangover and morning sickness
9. Never let a good cup of tea go cold. Refuse the first cup in your neghbors den out of politeness, refuse the second out of insistence, and accept the third on the grounds that your neighbor drink with you
19, 29, 39~?
19. How famous would you say your clan is in the local area? In their flight? In all of Sornieth?
The answer to all is “extremely.”
Initially, I didn’t plan on making Feldspar anything special–not beyond Dreamweaver’s close association with the Lightweaver anyway. As the clan grew, however, and I began to seriously consider its location within Greater Sornieth, I realized, oh, their territory runs right up alongside the Tangled Wood, the Sea of a Thousand Currents, and the Shifting Expanse.
It only made sense to me, then, that Feldspar would be a major hub of activity in Eastern Sornieth. With a large population of magic-workers and others in high-demand professions, a sizeable marketplace, and a demigod as a co-founder, it seemed likely to me that their humble village would gain popularity and gain it fast.
I’m sure there are remote areas of Sornieth where perhaps no one knows of Feldspar and its great importance to the east–but I’d wager we’re well-known across most of the known dragon world, and even more so within the Sunbeam Ruins.
29. A member of your clan has run afoul of a friendly clan. How would you prefer they be dealt with; by your laws or theirs? How would you deal with the reverse situation?
It depends entirely on the severity of the crime.
If a friendly clan calls for the death of a mere thief, Dreamweaver simply won’t allow it–and they’ll fight over it, too, if they absolutely must. They’ve been known to be merciless, but even they won’t shed blood over petty crimes.
If a friendly clan calls for the death of a ruthless and remorseless murderer, on the other hand, Dreamweaver will gladly abide by their laws. To them, it would seem reasonable, after sufficient proof of guilt had been provided and a formal trial held. They take no joy in killing (usually), but they don’t balk at the act either, especially not as punishment for so severe a crime.
(Even Banrai, keen as he is on second chances, could be convinced to make an exception for a murderer who truly felt no remorse for their actions.)
In the reverse situation, typically, Dreamweaver and Banrai both will respect the friendly clan’s laws and practices, and quite often will agree with them as well.
In clear-cut cases of premeditated and remorseless murder, Dreamweaver will, of course, call for execution, or, at the very least, exile–and they will not respect the friendly clan’s laws and practices, should they be at odds, in such an extreme case. Just as they would execute or exile a murderer from their own ranks, they expect the same courtesy from their allies.
Basically, if one of yours kills one of theirs without remorse, they will have blood, and if you won’t give it to them, they’ll take what they and their people are owed by force. They don’t like doing that sort of thing, but they will.
But, ultimately, it’s a case-by-case basis sort of deal, and both Dreamweaver and Banrai examine each case individually. There are times when even a killer may be spared their wrath.
In any case, Dreamweaver will always insist upon a fair trial and proof of guilt.
39. Which of your dragons would be most likely to turn against your clan? What would make them do such a thing (this isn’t to say that it would, it’s just a hypothetical)?
I think Armand.
He really has no sense of loyalty to anyone but his goddess, and I don’t think he’s ever felt remorse for his actions–not because he’s been broken and manipulated, like poor Atsushi, but because he’s such a terrible narcissist who, in his mind, can do no wrong. I doubt he’d have any real qualms with betraying Feldspar.
He’s also quite comfortable here, though, so it would take an awful lot to convince him to stick his neck out like that. He knows what the punishment for unrepentant betrayal is. Atsushi only got away with it because he was also a victim of the nightmare. Armand wouldn’t be given the same consideration.
I’d say, if he was going to risk life and limb, it would be for his goddess, who may or may not exist. If he got it in his head that She wished for him to destroy Feldspar, well, he’d do his damnedest. In that sense, he’s actually quite dangerous.
Fortunately, he at least seems to be relatively sane, if a bit dodgy, so I highly doubt he’ll ever have any reason to evoke Dreamweaver’s wrath–not unless someone else plants the idea in his head.

#this pair is my favorite of yours i think
Oh, um, this is probably a bad time to mention that today’s kids were officially the last nest from that pair and they both moved on to new, separate homes earlier today, eh?
