My reaction to Sherlock Series Finale
Bloody hell
Of course this greets me when I fire up Pokemon go.
It's been 2 hours and the only thing I've managed to do it get the update. I was almost able to purchase Lucas, but an error occurred in the middle of it.
Holy shit. All nintendo online services are completely destroyed. Now how will I play monster hunter with 1 or more friends?
This name check is taking a while! Guess it’s the first day of a Beta...
My two cents on the server issue with the event.
From a standpoint that has experience observing several journal websites over the past eleven years, they (the admins) really screwed themselves over on this one. The userbase is too big for the server load to manage having more than 3k people online at a time and two servers for the main content and the games? (Imho) They should have bought a dedicated server to house all graphics and related content so this issue couldn't happen again. That bandwidth for graphics eats at the servers just as much as the excess user load. Couple that with the countless page views the site is getting and it's taxing the servers big time. Hell, maybe a dedicated server for the coliseum on its own would be a big improvement.
Received breadcrumb quest fifteen minutes earlier than expected launch time.
Spent next fifteen minutes crashing.
Why am I not smart enough to wait, again?
