Favourite Antagonist:

Azula from ATLA. I could write a 20 page essay about why I like her, but mostly it boils down to “if you think she wasn’t abused because she didn’t get a scar across her face, you have NO idea how child abuse works; I know what it would have been like to grow up with that kind of family, because I DID grow up in that kind of family, at least as close as is possible when you translate ‘fantasy royal family’ into Real Life; and I know EXACTLY why she turned out the way she did”.

1. Sweet or savory foods?

Savory. I like sweet food, but too much of it will make me feel a bit queasy. I love soda though, I’m slightly addicted to it.

9. What are some of your special interests?

Marvel is my main special interest, Daredevil being my favorite hero. He is a disabled super hero who considers his disability a gift and uses that to help people. I think that’s inspiring. I can really relate to his noise sensitivity and his difficulty accepting injustice. Kingpin is also my favorite villain, he’s just as interesting as DD, maybe even more. 

Other special interests includes my idol Dan Harmon, Community, Bojack Horseman and Watchmen. I have a list of stuff I like here.

10. What do you like about being autistic?

There is a ton of stuff I like about being autistic! I actually wrote 30 positive things about autism during April such as special interests, hyperfocus, visual thinking, stimming and pattern recognition.
