The fight last night was a bad one. She’d noticed that he was escalating lately, but she didn’t want to believe it was because of her job at the winery in Williamsburg which kept her away from him for longer periods of time. But last night he’d made it very clear that that was, in fact, the case. She even woke up to her father shoving her clothes into duffle bags angrily, kicking her out of the house. She was quick to grab her make up bag from the bathroom before getting into the old family clunker of a car. She drove away from the home down the street so that she could cover up the bruises that were just beginning to form before deciding where she should go. She put her favorite jean jacket on, hoping that would give her the hug she needed. Chelsea just started driving the car before she found herself at Seth’s. She just wanted to go somewhere where she would be the least of a burden. And with Seth living alone in a nice house, that felt like it made the most sense. She made her way over to his place but as she pulled up to his home, she noticed he was packing up his car. So much for that plan. She parked though, and got out of the car. “Headed somewhere special there?”
