This is employee 432, or at least, what remains of him. He was put through tests and experimentation for inconceivable amounts of time. No one thinks at first that not being given something as simple as a pencil could cause someone to go insane... but eons and eons of not being given the ability to create... to log... to simply mark down the passage of days... for eons? Yes. That makes much more sense, doesn't it? It, perhaps, could drive someone to the point of becoming a being of pure creation... Whether it's true or not, Employee 432 or "Time Keeper" claims to be the true creator of what we know to be The Stanley Parable. The world, the office, Stanley, and even the Narrator himself. He is not simply the creator of the game... he is the game. The very fabric of it. A game that reflects the only life he remembers now. The Office. The tests. The Parable.

Yes, Narrator claims to be the true creator and controller of the game, but who made him? Who truly wrote the story he was tasked to narrate? Why is it that if you follow the story exactly as it's told, your ending is freedom? Wish Fulfillment.

Head canon: the timekeeper, settings guy, whatever you call them, wrote down what you designated your "favorite time" and so they can look at it whenever, because they are left alone most of the time.
