I’m sooooo late!!!
4: How do you get into your OC’s mindset to write for them? How do you find the muse for them? — Erbjeh doesn’t see Eorzea with the eyes of an Adventurer, as we do when we play the game. So the first thing I try to do is stop seeing the big picture and focus in the environments he is familiar with. He is also kind of an amalgamate of personalities. In his youth he was very straightforward and undisciplined. Then his later years were a directionally opposite turn in his mindset: strict and serious. Then his Conjury training gave him the insight to take wisdom from contemplation and meditation. I try to stick to this last iteration of his behaviour for the most part, but I don’t forget his past and try to give him kind of a rugged demeanor. He also doesn’t show his thoughts very often, so it’s hard to get an opinion from him.
9: What is your OC like when at work? Are they diligent? Slacker? Do they get along with their co-workers? — He takes his job as a Conjury teacher very seriously, but he is not the most strict of professors. He is aware that the knowledge of the elementals is vast and hard to comprehend, so he tries to not be too harsh with his students when they struggle to understand his lessons. He is very patient with troublemakers, sometimes to the point where it looks like he is being compliant with them.
11: Is there a place they go to in order to escape the world, the stresses of life? What’s their favourite place? — Erby has a weakness for waterfalls. Before he was admitted in the Conjurers’ Guild he spent his days trying to wash away unwanted thoughts under the falling waters of Apkallu Falls. The noise of falling water always relaxes him, and he finds it difficult to not get under a waterfall when he finds one in his treks outside Gridania.
14: Pet peeves. Tell us what would really tick them off. Do they have a Berserk Button? — High ranks being prepotent with people lower in the stablished hierarchy, whichever it is: military officials being dismissive to privates, teachers not putting effort on their students’ development, etc. He’s also a bit wary of Thaumaturgy
17: Do they have any guilty pleasures? They embarrassed about them? Do they flaunt them? — Hmmm, some of his sexual practices could fall unders this category, yes. Can’t think of anything apart from that.
23: Any ships for your OC? — Right now Erbjeh is in a relationship with one of @sevenfisher‘s characters, Zu Dzigo. Something is also boiling between him and @mother-of-krogans‘ character, but we haven’t had the occasion to RP it yet.
CERBERUS' BARA HAVEN
This last week my good friend @sevenfisher and I have started a linkshell! It's called Bara Haven, and it has become a comfortable safe space for a small group of people to talk about our sexuality and enjoy the beauty that is male fanservice in Final Fantasy XIV (them roes!). I just wanted to make a post to say how thankful I am of the supportive environment that these beautiful people have helped to build. It hasn't gotten much attention overall, but you guys make it worth it! <3

Spent over £70 on books today. Oops. Oh well, got this lot to read through: Shining King pet Salaman, world war z, lord of the rings trilogy, adventure time mathmetical edition vol 1 (comic) and bioshock rapture which I'm reading through at the moment. Books make me happy c:
