The "coming soon" Kickstarter is going to have a £17 tier with a 17 person limit to own one of the 17 uncles.
Here's Uncles 4/17

i really like the look of this man, when can we see something other than those skyscrapers tho?
I was actually just thinking today of putting some more stuff in the map, even for testing purposes it's becoming a real eye-sore, and I need to keep building a library of meshes to use.
It'd also make for a good stress-test of the completely un-optimized renderer, see how many lights it can handle before I absolutely *have* to bake in lighting to keep it playable.
I just need to make some cool shit to run around in. Suggestions anyone?

Tell me more about ur gaem. Is it going to be a straight shooter? A deus ex em up?
A Deus Ex 'em up. I don't want to idea-guy too hard on the concept but I'm aiming for combat reminiscent of FEAR and NeoTokyo, with a stealth system similar to Thief: The Dark Project and a ton of "interactive" nonsense like in Jazzpunk, Duke Nukem 3D and classic Shadow Warrior.
The story is still in limbo while I get the actual game working but I'm aiming for something a little more Street-Level/Down-to-Earth than Deus Ex, a more localized story rather than some grand world conspiracy or world-saving mission.
And in case anyone else asks: there is no engine, I'm writing it from scratch in C++ using OpenGL, GLFW3 (for context and input) and SFML2 (for sound and texture-loading), that's why everything takes so fragging long.

redesigned the occult shop interior, far more occulty shoppy now and matches the exterior much better.
