Stop picking up random kids or draw 25
Greed squints at the card, glares at the card, then huffs and draws 50 cards just to prove a point.

As much as she was trying her best to ignore the hands reaching to poke at her cheeks, it was getting harder for her to concentrate on the book she was reading. And as soon as she sees the hands approach again in the corner of her eyes, Hikari is quick to swat them away.
“--Would you quit that?”

Waiting by sitting down on the edge of the teacher's desk, Hanako seemed to be waiting for something. Maybe to see if they would notice what he was doing or something, or maybe even see him. Why was he doing this though? Mostly through boredom. He was fine with playing around this the different teachers, after all.
they remained focused on their paperwork for as long as possible, checking student answers and putting down their own notes as crimson pupils occasionally shifted. they twirled the pen in their hand soon, gripping it before poking the spirit’s side as if to prod him off the desk if not alert him.
❝ don’t sit on desks. if someone is working on the desk. sit at one of the student’s seats. ❞

She hadn’t actually expected him to be there, in all honesty-- it was just common for her to hide in the old building’s classrooms when something awful had happened, besides-- it wasn’t like her classmates would find her here anyways, they’re all far too scared to come near the place ( unless it’s to play some silly game like Kokkuri-san ). It was a place of solitude for her-- a safespace for her to cry any frustration away and to quell her nerves from the words of other people ( they were vicious, too ).
❝ I-- I... ❞ Her voice dies in her throat a little and the girl reaches up to wipe away oncoming tears, ❝ Just... just some girls from class-- they’re... they kinda ruined m’desk, and-- and said bad things. ❞ She explained quietly, ❝ They do it with a lotta other kids, so... so I’m not really the only one who’s bothered by it-- ❞ It doesn’t mean she’s not any less bothered, at least none of her items were ruined... but it’ll take a while to clean the desk up, ❝ So-- so I just... wanted to come over here for a bit, y’know? ❞
✘ What, or who, are you most afraid of?

When he was gone. Fer those moments when he was gone n’ it was just me I didn’t know what I was gunna do. I was terrified. I can still see - I can still see his face - the last time I saw it - the last time I saw him was so......

14 and 15 for the modern questions!
14. buying, streaming, or piracy?
Rhys absolutely does not vibe with showering big corporations with his hard-earned money, so you bet your ass he’s not above a little piracy to watch shows or movies usually only available through streaming services. He doesn’t care much for paying for those AT ALL. He does like, buy movies from the store though, but that’s kind of different because those sales actually benefit the filmmakers and actors, so that’s fine lmao
15. what’s their five-year-plan in the modern verse, and what are their wildest dreams for the next five years, regardless if they find them plausible or not?
Honestly, Rhys doesn’t really have a plan? Beyond taking care of his daughter he’s just living day to day, and happy to be his own person and free of his dad’s looming and overbearing presence (for now). He’s simply glad he can say he can support himself and his kid without anyone’s help, that he’s made it despite everything his dad used to say about how he’d fail on his own.
