Sewing Blogs and Videos
Madam Sew has a free sewing and quilting blog available. It has how-to videos and other resources, for beginners to pros. Check it out if you’re interested in sewing. Madam Sew also has a shop with low-cost sewing supplies, including presser feet collections, bias tape making set, washable fabric markers, and various other notions.
My Patchwork is a sewing blog I follow, and the how-to videos as well as free patterns are how I learned to do foundation paper piecing. I highly recommend checking her blog out if you’re interested in sewing, quilting, and manipulating fabric (she does amazing things with it!). She has a video and blog post showing how to make the masks so many people need right now. I know a lot of people have a hard time just following written patterns, and the video may help them. Here’s her YouTube channel.
If you know of a blog or YouTube channel you recommend newbies and/or pros should check out, please reblog this with the links and a little info regarding each one.
