Sewing Challenge ˖ ࣪⭑
Next year I am going to get better at sewing and garment construction. Here's a list for fun to check off as I make progress. i intentionally left some open-ended. I dont expect to check off everything, just using it for fun. Ill update with any new ones I think of.

do you have an OC? Make something like they would do it! Are they a crochetter? Crochet something they would! Are they an artist? Draw something they would!
Is it something you can't do but the OC are really good at? Do it anyway! Learn something new in the process! It's okay if it looks bad, that's part of the charm!
Do you not have an OC? But think you're bad at something? Art, crochet, sewing, writing, anything? Then do it Intentionally Bad! Make it as ugly as you can! Pretend you're in kindergarten and sees the things for the first time! (not to say all things done in kindergarten is ugly! But to explain the vibe of things!)
Draw outside of the lines! Do that sun in the corner! Make bad stitches! Weird sentences! Go wild and let your inner child loose!

Doll/Craft Resolution, Part 9/12 (Hopefully): September 2022
So, my ‘resolution list’ for this year included making at least one doll outfit each month, focusing on rounding out my historical girl’s collections so that ALL of my dolls would at least be closer to having the 6 outfits I’d planned for them. (Though, admittedly, not all of the outfits will be historical outfits. Quite a few ‘collections’ will be a blend of modern outfits and historical ones, and some will lean more one way than another.)
So, next up is Kit, showing off her new Robin Hood costume—hers at long last, (after months of promising I would make it)!
The pattern is Doll Tag Clothing’s Sherwood Tales pattern, which includes patterns for the tunic, pants, belt, armguards, cowl and hat, and I had mocked up some boot-cover patterns last year for Tatiana’s Towns Guy costume. The tunic took the longest, but everything after that actually went pretty quickly, then it was off to the park for some fitting backdrops.!

This is just the introduction to a multi part series I have planned for this year.
This is from a quilting blog, but I think it’s a neat idea, especially for people like moi who have trouble scheduling their sewing projects.
It’s a UFO (unfinished objects) Challenge.
The idea is you pick 12 projects to do during the year and number them 1-12. On the first of each month, you pick a number at random (from a hat or roll a d12) and work on that project during the month. By the end of the year, you’ll have 12 completed or mostly completed projects.
I may do this for my sewing.
