I really liked how Sexify handled the Monika and Maks relationship (spoilers).

They struck the right balance of letting the audience see them explore their connection, without forcing them into a relationship that wouldnt have fit them. It also set Monika up to have a more healthy relationship next season. Its not my typical tv relationship preference but I like that it was just a normal, amicable relationship that ends because it just isn't right but there is still a lot of affection and respect.

On episode 6 of Netflix "Sexify." I really like it! It's a bit silly but I like that it's Polish and feels very Not American. The soundtrack is also very distinctive, and all the POV protagonists are women. Some of the execution feels messy or awkward or over the top but I like what it's trying to do.

Also probably going to start the second season of Russian Doll soon.

Kontrola & Sexify are proof that Poland would be capable of creating a good SKAM adaptation contrary to so many people's belief that it would be a shit show. Saying we can't make good teen/young adult shows is a disservice to all the writers and producers that are in fact capable and not given enough credit.
