@shayaknyc and I have been having this conversation over the course of days. He says that he and several men that he talks to like being objectified. Then we randomly made a new friend @barboncinopizza who heard a podcast about how cis-men desire objectification (hey girl, feel free to announce yourself if you see this. Wasn't sure if you're cool with tagging) So we discussed the context in which these desires are occurring. Being treated as a sexual object is different than being seen as a sexual being. One is a THING that one (predator) feels entitled to. The other is a human that is being seen as a human being.
