“Can we leave I’m so bored” you whispered into your boyfriends arm as he continued to bury his head in his book. “I want to join you in the library, it will be fun...you said.” Chani responded in a condescending tone still not raising his eyes from the pages of the book. “I just wanted to spend time with you that’s all!” You say in a pout as you cross your arms and lean back into your chair.

“Fine baby, how about I just check this book out and I will buy you dinner, how does that sound?” Chani spoke in a sweet tone while his hand went to your chin. “That sounds... Wait!” You say before you shove his hand off of your chin. “You could have just checked out this book from the very beginning and I didn’t have to sit here bored out of my mind?” You say as you try to keep your voice low but still huffing and puffing. “Like you said baby, I just wanted to spend time with you too.” He said as he leans over and places a kiss on your forehead.

“Now, let’s go I’m getting hungry. Are you in the mood for anything in particular?” Chani asks as he starts to pack his stuff away. “I don’t care as long as we get ice cream after.” You say as you get up and turn on your heel still pouting. “Yes of course, ice cream is a must. Thank you for hanging out with me baby.” Chani whisper in your ear as he grabs your hand and leads you out of the library. “You know, I wasn’t that bored.” You say as you feel a little guilty. “Really, so do you want to join me next time?” But before he could continue you land a gentle kiss onto his lips. “Umm, how about we talk about that later I’m starving.”

You were now leading him away from the library in a rush. Chani just giggled he didn’t care if you guys talked or if you sat in complete silence, all he wanted was your company. This was the same for you, he was your everything and every moment spent together was precious.
