Hey, so I’ve added a new scene to SFLOPS (and it still amuses me to call it that, so: SFLOPS!) One-sentence summary? Well, we’ve beaten Sovereign and introduced Liara to the family, so… back to the Citadel for tea and medals!
There may not actually be tea.

Not gonna lie, folks, this chapter was work. It occurred to me as a bunch of out-of-sequence vignettes that I had to stitch into a cohesive whole, and I laid on myself the duty of introducing my antagonists to the audience and showing they have reasons for what they do that make sense to them, consider themselves the heroes of their own stories, all that good stuff. Still, we get there in the end (fingers crossed!)
P.S. For those that missed it when I posted it here for a little straw poll, there’s a “deleted scene” from this chapter that I’ve turned into a Scene from the Life of Phil Shepard, with lots of nerdy headcanon about how the Alliance military works, as well as a bit of character study of Phil.
